She's inoffensively bland, but yeah it was weird how she just wasn't part of the movie at all. As a character she works well as Steven's GF, but story-wise she's not really important at all. Well, outside of Diamond Days where they arguably would've tried waiting for White forever only for Steven to die of starvation because she wouldn't let him go back for food. That bit of anarchy Connie introduced by getting them to dance was good and then how she was basically his Samwise carrying his broken body back to his gem half. More of that sort of thing in S6 would be good.
