What does Seth MacFarlane think of the direction American Dad went in? I've heard his only involvement in it after the first season is voicing Stan, Roger and a handful of side characters.

Who cares? It got way better, and that's all that matters.

Absolutely did. Still kind of curious.

I wish I could find the exact video or quote but from memory: He once said in an interview that American Dad went in a very different direction than what he wanted and he didn't understand it until people started coming up to him and raving about American Dad. After conversing with fans he went back and rewatched some episodes and he said he completely gets it now, thinks the writers are brilliant, and admits it is no longer a show he could write. He said in some other interview that he has absolutely no creative involvement in American Dad beyond being an actor.

I love that he went back and rewatched it with an open mind. Thanks for contributin', buddy.

Based

People always give Seth too much shit. The price of being the biggest name in a show I suppose

What does seth even do anymore? I know he made some movies but it seems like he just chills

he does a shitty star trek ripoff thats even worse than the old shitty star trek ripoff space quest

Yet somehow better than the current actual star trek. Not that it's a high bar.
