>How does this work?

>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.

>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

Bump

OK, so we often talk about heroes fighting villains, but what about their natural disaster response?
Earthquakes, erupting volcanoes, hurricanes, how do the supers here handle those? Which supers here can even handle those?

They get betrayed by their former friend who then goes on to drive an entire race of people to extinction sans one of them.
But for real, you would need a vast assortment of heroes to deal with it. Strength heroes to lift rubble, speed heroes to get people out of Dodge, elemental heroes to battle the disasters themselves, surveillance heroes to find survivors, support heroes to deliver supplies and heal survivors, and so forth. Of course, you could use any number of powers for any of these purposes given the range of abilities that exist.
If you're looking around for stuff like that, My Hero Academia actually has a hero team dedicated to rescue operations, the Wild Wild Pussycats. There's also individuals like Uwabami and Thirteen who specialise in rescue.

What's this?

I'll tell you later.

Imagine a hero who "fights" natural disasters. Everyone thinks they are crazy though.

is that Dude Von Doom??
