Regardless of whether you enjoyed the movie or not how would you have made it more like the original show?
Right in the squeedelyspooch.
Before the movie, I always thought Dib could eventually get sick of his kind and family that he ironically helped the Irkens take over it (which kinda happened for a race that Dib tried to save in the comics).
>Gaz and membrane would be less supportive emotionally to Dib
And that's where I stopped reading.
No reason Dib can't have his family actually love him and be aware of it, and it gives Gaz and Membrane more character outside of being one note mad scientist and scary little girl.
I agree but also still like Florpus. I think things like changing the Membranes so Dib's arc having an emotional payoff works best for this since it's supposed to be a movie, not just a random episode in a TV series. And usually in movies, you want a self contained emotional journey. If we assume this is the last of ZIM, I'd rather it play out by having all of the Membranes finally fight alongside Dib and help him take out ZIM than just keep playing up the same joke of, "Dib is alone, everyone thinks he's a dumb loser" that we've already seen for two seasons.
Also, ZIM didn't discover the Tallest lied about his mission. He believed he failed the Tallest and that they changed their flight path so that they wouldn't come by to Urth. That's why he screamed, "THE TALLEST AREN'T COMING!" and started wailing. And it's why Dib went on to talk to ZIM about, "Everyone thinks I'm a failure, too".
Fuck off comicfag, your kind ruined Zim
>In fact what so many new fags don't seem to understand about Dib's character is that he doesn't do what he does for recognition or fame,
You're just as bad as these "new" fags if you've failed to realizes that while Dib¨s main goal is not to be famous, he would very much LOVE for everyone to recognize him as the genius/earth-saving hero he wants to be. Several times in the show, he fantasizes about being a revered celebrity like his dad, and being known as the hero who saved earth.
Watched the show and loved it as an edgy teen, just like you I presume, and you really do come off as a bitter oldfag. It looks more clean, yes, but nothing about the humor changed.
>"I've got a Squeedilyspooch"
>Your kind
What the fuck are you talking about?
Vasquez himself regretted that he never had Gaz actually acting like a sister to Dib in the series and how her character was mostly an off-brand Mandy.
>Vasquez himself regretted
And George Lucas regretted Han shooting first, people can change for the worse fuckwit
