Why does DC make all these separate live action universes and expect people to be able to keep track of all of them? They've got:
>DCEU
>Gotham
>Arrowverse
>Titans
>Krypton
>Pennyworth
>Probably some other stuff

And now they're trying to introduce ANOTHER movie universe with this DC Black. Why do they think people have the patience to keep track of 50 separate canons?

As long as there's an alternative to the Margotverse who cares. Let them put eggs in all different baskets and just make good films and series.

Incompetence

Aren't Pennyworth and Gotham in the same universe?

Canon doesn't matter.

this

they don't care about diluting their own brands (outside of Batman)

Why do you feel the need to keep track of all of them? Pick and choose what you want to watch, them referencing each other shouldn't be the driving force in your decision nor does it imply quality (just look at the MCU)

Yes they are. Still don't know what the fuck Epix is

Gosh, consolidating all those different Universes is going to end up causing some kind of...Crisis.

Except when it does because shows or movies try to interact with each other. Canon is nothing but the established story of a shared universe. If you say "canon doesn't matter" what you're saying is the narrative consistency of the broader story doesn't matter.
