Seriously. He's just a bad character. Every time he's in a fight I want to scream "Have you tried turning into a gorilla?", but by then he likely already has.

He only turns into like three animals. Rhino, Gorilla, Eagle. He has a shit imagination and he's proven before that he can turn into shit even from other worlds. I think he's just dumb.
If i genetically engineer a completely new animal could he turn into it?
OH ALSO, he should have super regenerative powers, yet in the past two episodes we've seen him get his shit kicked in and not just transform to heal. Literally what the fuck?
He should be able to. His powers come from The Red - the force of all animal life, just like Swamp Thing's come from The Green - the source of all plant life.
I like when he turns into a whale and bodyslams enemies. If I were him I'd abuse the shit out of that.
