Currently reading through the first Wonder Woman golden age omnibus and its pretty fun stuff. I guess I had it in my head that golden age stuff would be a slog to read through. Any opinions on the quality of the golden age batman and superman?

It's not nearly as great but still decent stuff. Superman is a badass and just fucks people up. Batman has some cool detective and horror stories but nothing particularly amazing.

Wonder Woman was really helped by the excellent art and Marston learning how to write for film first and foremost.

He didn't had things like "he is stronger than Goku!11!!1!1!" he was just a superhero, a superman called Kal El, there were many others supermen in the golden age, either magical or from space. And he was one of those, he was an hero, not the strongest, not the most badass but an hero

The thing I love most is how Wonder Woman was the strongest woman of all, she killed Hitler and the Japaneses in one issue! Superman and The All Star Squadron usually takes 5 issues!
