Currently reading through the first Wonder Woman golden age omnibus and its pretty fun stuff. I guess I had it in my head that golden age stuff would be a slog to read through. Any opinions on the quality of the golden age batman and superman?

It's not nearly as great but still decent stuff. Superman is a badass and just fucks people up. Batman has some cool detective and horror stories but nothing particularly amazing.
Wonder Woman was really helped by the excellent art and Marston learning how to write for film first and foremost.
