>"I turned down a superhero movie once and they haven’t called back since. And it was a big one. I don’t regret it because I didn’t want to be green for six months out of every year. They tell beautiful stories through superheroes, and my daughter’s now really obsessed with superheroes now, and part of me wishes I’d done it, but the other part of me is like ‘I had a life to live’ and I don’t think I would’ve been happy."
>Does she deserve another chance? Does Disney look like a nigga that offers second chances?
Fuck with the mouse once and you wish you had never pursued a professional acting career.
Grayson Roberts
Jennifer' body was heroic.
Luis Gutierrez
>Does she deserve another chance? She is really cute but 34yo is too old .
Ian Myers
Benedict Cumberbatch turned them down at first too.
Jeremiah Collins
>Does Disney look like a nigga that offers second chances? Didn't Evangeline Lilly shoot down the first offer to be the Wasp and the director had to double down to convince her?
Robert Murphy
evans turned down cap at least 4 times as well. if feige wants somebody for a part, he'll still pursue
David Perry
>if feige wants somebody for a part, he'll still pursue That sounds ominous.
Noah Collins
Sounds like she is bitter and thought the movie would flop. Now that it's a hit she is bitching in hopes people will herass Disney and make them hire her for something.
Matthew Lewis
benedict was more of a scheduling thing, he was doing a play and thought they wouldn't wait because it's a big huge studio thing but feige delayed production on strange because ben was their guy. and it surprised/impressed cumberbatch so much and that's when he realized it was a different type of studio
Mason Lopez
They also offered Emily Blunt both Black Widow and Peggy Carter but previous commitments prevented her from taking either role.
Alexander King
That was before the Disney deal so it doesn't count. Plus he is a perfect Dr strange
Tyler Mitchell
they went from popular tv actors like him to small actors with adwards like Larson and Mahershala Ali, I can see Feige trying to get Emma Stone because La La Land
Jonathan Nguyen
usually when producers are turned down they'll just move to the next actor on the list, rarely do they ask again for the same part, but feige knew it was evans and definitely made the right call
Hudson Parker
People make out Disney to be vindictive and all powerful but what they really are is just very very good at business lmao. If you reject them, they'll still pick you up if they think that you would be a good asset for them.
They aren't the fucking mafia.
Noah Barnes
This. I'm sure Emily Blunt has been offered 2 or 3 roles wouldn't be surprised if she plays sue
Michael Sanders
Helps that she's literally Mary Poppins and has Disney ties already
Nolan Hernandez
I'm fairly certain people have gotten "offers" they can't refuse.
Charles Gomez
That was a correct assumption to make. GOTG should've flopped horribly. Based on everything people knew about GOTG at the time, you'd assume a movie like that would end up down their with Thor 2 and Hulk as the lowest rated Marvel flicks. But, they completely diverged from the source material and managed to turn it into a pretty good series so far.
She doesn't say it directly but her mindset was probably like >I've never heard of these D-list shitters >Do I really wanna be in what could possibly be the worst MCU movie? It was completely reasonable at the time. To add to that, at the time she was still up and coming and even now isn't anywhere near one of the biggest actors. Being in the MCU is not something you want to do if you haven't already made it big. It'll either destroy your career or you'll be trapped in that role forever otherwise. She made the right decision.
Bentley Phillips
which actors are banned in Disney/Marvel? Norton, Lawrence ....
Samuel Hall
>Amanda Seyfried literally who?
Kevin Barnes
She looks like Golem or whatever that little guy from Lord of the Rings is called. She has a nice body though and was a victim of the Fappening. There's tons of pics of her giving some guy a blowjob on a boat and just general nudes. Shit was cash. As for movies she's been in, nothing notable.
Joshua Wood
who the fuck is amanda seyfried is this interesting enough to make a thread about?
Henry Richardson
so fuckin what who cares fuck guardians of the galaxy and that bitch ass sicko james gunn
Jacob Bell
turning down a role isn't the same as burning bridges with them
Seyfried would be a good Moonstone
Sebastian Howard
>Plus he is a perfect Dr strange
nah
Samuel Barnes
>I don’t regret it because I didn’t want to be green for six months out of every year.
Yeah, nah, fuck her. If she were really worth a damn the idea of putting on makeup for a role wouldn't be such an issue.
That said, it's not like Gamora's that great a character anyway, so it's not like anything was lost or gained with Zoe Saldana in the role.
Michael Rogers
>As for movies she's been in, nothing notable
Mean Girls you pleb
Ayden Moore
Zoe Saldana is 41. She was older than Seyfried is now than when GotG came out.
Connor James
>nothing notable Yeah I think I was on the money. Your dumb movie about teenage girls that you fapped to as a kid is not some cinematic masterpiece. I've seen so many faggots break it down and say shit like >oh it perfectly encapsulates what it's like in high school >it's a deep allegory for socialism >has the best written characters >blah blah blah It's a dumb "comedy" written by a female "comedian" and nothing more, it's barely funny, shot poorly, and has a paper thin shitty plot.
