It's a non-Disney property owned by Disney. Only a tiny fraction of those are remembered by anyone at all
That hurts me, since this was the Peter Pan i grew up with rather than Disney's (which I blame both on ease of watching on Fox compared to the premium channel I didn't have of Disney) but also because Tim Curry's Hook was infinitely more appealing to me than the cowardly beanpole of Disney's film.
I remember liking it but they kept changing time slots earlier until I finally gave up on tracking it down saturday morning.
I'm not waking up at 7 in the morning on a saturday if I dont have to
I recall it coming on at 3 that I'd watch every day after school.
I'm surprised it got a video game adaptation
Previously there was no incentive for Fox to release it when all it would do is give Disney's version more publicity. Now that Disney own's it there's no incentive to release it because it would cause confusion between the two versions.
Yeah, but being voiced by Tim Curry is cheating for a villain. It's like being voiced by Tony Jay. Either of them could have read the phone book and given it a sense of cultured menace.
This is follicle discrimination!
it's a bullshit reason. it's not being released, because it's not being released and fuck you, that's why
