As I have never given a shit about Death Battle before, the Ben v Hal video was the first I had ever seen.
And honestly, the animated duo seemed so bad in terms of comedy that by the end of it, I didn't care what their opinion would be either way. They remind me of family guy characters voiced by high-schoolers. If they came to the right conclusion at all, it wouldn't be because they thought it out.

they've come to the right conclusion before, but like you said. they stumbled into it. if they understood the media better they'd know X would at bare minimum be capable of everything displayed in the prime universe, so it would be an infinite speed blitz with constant energy absorption that would knock his head off from the start.
