Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Brie Larson as Samus, though mostly because my vision of a Metroid film involves a silent protagonist and would mostly depend upon how well Larson can physically/visually project.

Would you even need an actress? I mean, the nature of the suit makes it feels like you’d do better to just cgi.
An actual armor suit would suck for any actor due to the solid metal cinch around the waist would call for either and armor design or breaking ribs. Or moving stiffly, very stiffly.
Unless you plan to do a lot of out of armor or zero suit scenes.

True, but again I suppose it would depend upon the kind of movie you want to make. I'd rather have a real actress than a CGI one.
In any case, you wouldn't ever need a truly metal suit. Costuming departments know how to fake it.
