My theater went nuts when she popped up in Endgame. She's only really been in one movie so far, but the hype is there.
Her and Rudd are all I really have left to look forward to in the MCU at this point.

Ant-Man appeared in Civil War and was a major part of Endgame. Wasp was not.
That being said, I've had a crush on Evangeline Lilly since LOST, so Wasp will always be at least top 3 MCU grills for me.

And in the second movie she was built up as somehow more competent despite Scott having more experience and in essence they emasculated the mc to build up the director's mary sue. only people who like her are nu-male beta cucks like you op.

She showed she was more competent than Scott throughout the entirety of the first movie. She helped teach Scott how to control ants. How the fuck is that being uppity?

Sif's actress had a tv show on NBC so scheduling conflicts. Plus Waititi and Russos took a sledge hammer to most of Thor's background characters so almost all the Asgardians are dead or missing (ex. Sif) except for Waititi's OC: Valkyrie.

And yet she contributed nothing to the first movie other than help Cross oust her dad from his own company and then running home to cry on his shoulder once it turned out Cross was crazy. And frankly Pym did more to train Scott than she did.

Her costume is really bad and they really haven't done anything interesting with her. We already know she loves her mom and we already know that he likes Lang. We also know that he's more competent than Lang but they don't really show anything impressive. Her action scenes are laughable to what you would expect. There's no impact and barely any contact with her strikes.

Is there any way to understand all of the ins and outs of the Donald Blake stuff other than just starting from the top and reading all of Thor's stuff? I tried to make sense of it based on secondhand accounts and I honestly couldn't. Like, is Thor really DB? Or is DB another random person like Jane who became "Thor" ?

Honestly I have no idea. What I remember about DB were from really old crossovers and annuals from when I was a kid. These days Thor is either an alien or the literal norse Thor. Now I hear that Jane Foster was chosen by the Hammer to become Thor. I don't know.

EMH's Ant-Man does a great adaptation of Hank Pym and a great Janet too
