The R&M team are clearly aware of it, and given GW is cooperating with Sega, Bandai, and Funko now they seem to have decided to drop the Kirby era rule of making few products outside the wargame.
It could actually happen.
Since GW doesn’t want to push too much blatant darkness in AoS they may actually let it just be WFB too.

Tyranids aren't even animals really. They are all essentially organic robots all designed for a particular purpose by the hive mind.
Be it smashing, shooting, or devouring.
Everything in 40k other than the Old Ones are basically that.
Souls don’t designate you as a person, they’re just a type of energy that is generated by certain things. Inanimate objects can have souls, some people don’t.
Most, possibly all, races were created by the Old Ones, other than Tyranids. Daemons are just energy convinced it has a personality, like how AI is electricity.
