To put it simply, their what happens when you put locusts in space, and make them 10 times bigger.
In 40k, they are a relatively recent threat, only arriving in the Milky Way within the last few centuries. However, in that short time, they have devoured numerous planets, found and defeated countless armies, including space Marines, and have continuously adapted to whatever is thrown at them.
The worst part is, that the fleets that have made it into the galaxy so far appear to only be scouting fleets. It seems obvious that a MUCH larger force is set to appear in the galaxy very soon.
What's even more frightening, is that the Tyranids might be running FROM domething. If that's the case, than the main force that enters the galaxy is probably goin g to followed by something way worse..
Sidenote, there are a lot of fictional universes I'd love to drop the Tyranids into. Not because I think they'd be able to fight them, but because I'd love to see them get ate.

GamesWorkshop is the tabletop game company that EA Games looks to for business practice ideas. Everything they have is a thousand blatant ripoffs of something better, which thanks to obscurity and the creator of Warhammer being fired they get to pretend it isn’t.
The fantasy version which preceded the sci fi version was better, and it was killed in favor of a sequel that is the tabletop equivalent of CalArts for cartoons.

If the entirety of Cal-arts were forced to make a Warhammer Fantasy cartoon, but were told to keep every dark/crazy element of said Fantasy into the cartoon(And not put in their personal agendas into it), how would the show run itself?

Well it would still look like shit because artistic talent has completed evaporated in California, but I guess it would be like a Rick and Morty sort of affair. Like, if they have to keep everything in then you have to keep Dark Elf slavers, Beastman rape parties, Skaven just basically existing, and all the Chaos fucked up shit. Also the Wood Elves chimping out and raping Bretonnian children.

Souls don’t designate you as a person, they’re just a type of energy that is generated by certain things. Inanimate objects can have souls, some people don’t.
Most, possibly all, races were created by the Old Ones, other than Tyranids. Daemons are just energy convinced it has a personality, like how AI is electricity.
