I feel like this show was the single best thing to happen to the Silver Age of Comics in decades. It brought all the fun and energy from those without the campiness and made a coherent whole.

Because it's different, so it scares them.

It's funny to think BatB was so hated compared to how beloved it is now. I know it happened, but it's hard to reconcile.

As one '66 showrunner said, you have to treat the roles with absolute conviction. You got to play it straight or the humor just falls apart.

It's rather surprising how few people understand that.

Did you forget that the JSA was in this series?

I think BATB had the potential to do lot more with the universe they created, which makes it's cancellation even more tragic.
