I just finished the final episode of Season 1. This show is fucking wonderful. I love it to death. I love how charming everyone is, I love how it has genuine moments of sadness and ugliness, I love Rapunzel and how she's very good but also has huge flaws that frequently get her into trouble. This show is phenomenal and I'm ashamed I didn't start watching it sooner.

You aren't alone with those thoughts. It's a very comfy show to watch. It's kind of rare that a cartoon off-shoot of a movie actually maintains the qualities of the original.
As a side note I discovered a few months ago that a guy at work secretly enjoys the show and watches it with his young daughter (a big fan of the show) as a cover for his interest. :^)
The show seems to transcend a wide age range.

This show is fun and has it's unexpected moments. Also it felt like there is a new story-board artist for the newer episodes? Some of the animation direction looked different.
