Make Superman visit her later not to make sure she doesn't try suicide again but because he's a friend.
He throws her off
I wouldn't rewrite the scene as it is in All-Star, but an issue or even a storyline of Supes trying to help someone with depression could be worthwhile.

Thank God, those 10 seconds almost killed the thread.
Like this?
Kinda, I guess.
This actually makes sense in context of Batman wanting to kill the alien.

Not enough.
It's an interesting idea. Maybe he can help Tom King Batman.
There's a prolonged one that gets posted sometimes - Superman stays with a suicidal woman like all day and it's . . . less impactful, personally, than this.
Such genius! Now make it 3 times longer than it needs to be.
>You’re much stronger than you think you are. In fact, I’ll even bet that you can fly.” *pushes her off*
It's been done multiple times, ans has always been shit.
That's the one from Grounded. JMS should stay away from social issues.
This is pretty much how Yea Forums would operate as a Superhero.
Instead of a suicidal it's Batman masturbating on his couch and right when he starts to cry Superman hugs him so he doesn't feel alone
Snyder furiously taking notes.
Justice league doom had a decent spin on it.

Because it's stupid and decompressed(aka one of the biggest problems in comics). This scene has a simple set up with the therapist earlier and then it's this page. Its effective and dense without beating you over the head ir forcing shit on you. This page tells you a lot of things:
Superman is always listening, not just the girl's cries for help, but in a crowded train while saving lives, he hears everyone's problems.
The simple words "it's never as bad as it seems" and "you're stronger than you think you are" being incredible through their simplicity, here's this godlike being telling you something that, if you stop and think for a second, are true. Life is never as bad as it seems to you in that moment, and you can get past it, you've moved past problems your entire life and once they passed, they seem... smaller.
Theres no need to shove some cheesy "hurt I am yo fren" scene with a throwaway character that will never show up again.
>But but but... Superman said he's best friends with this unnamed civilian that will never be seen again so it m-matters!
Not really. The words he said on the page aren't "I'm helping you and you can make it because of me". It's Superman, with his hands full saving the city, dealing with an illness that's killing him, dealing with personal relationships(he's talking to Lois before he runs to the girl), and he takes the time to remind a person that they are stronger than this. No matter what, Superman will be there for you, but not to carry you over that bridge, but to remind you that you've crossed bridges before, and the length of this one is not as overwhelming as you might think.
It's depth through simplicity, it might be an overly spammed page but objectively speaking, that does not influence the quality of the actual scene.
"Junkie traps like you deserve the jump"
"N-no wait stop I changed my MAAAAAAAANnnn.."
>*splat
"God speed the American Way, ooh-raa!"
>*spits, flies away

you can't
its short and sweet. adding to it lessens the impact.
I wanna give her the dong.
There's also the payoff later when the reason he finds out about the Tyrant Sun coming is because Regan's descendant broke future law and sent a message back to him in the time capsule.
I readed of at least one person who renonced to commit suicide after reading this scene, that's the proof that Superman can really save people
