>Hulk just gets stronger than Tim Roth and beats him that's all there is to it.
Yeah that’s sort of how Hulk works.
Why does the mcu ignore this movie?
Sure, and that's why his movies suck. There's no trick or question to beating the enemy, since Hulk can't die and only gets stronger as they fight.
>Ross eventually came back
>Movies like Avengers occasionally point at Harlem as the first public Hulk outing
>Just like the end of the movie implied Bruce is able to control Hulk
>They even referenced the deleted scene where Bruce tries to shoot himself but Hulk prevents him from dying
What's left to do? It's true the movie set up villains and Betty, but things just change overtime, like how Jane Foster is suddenly gone
The 2000s movie was smart tho, the final fight wasn't about Hulk throwing stronger punches
What the fuck are you talking about? The main thrust of the story was a Hulk version of Beauty and the Beast and Bruce having to comes to terms with the monster inside of him
>superhero stories only matter because of the bad guy
I'm not replying to you any more
Cause its awful and the only good thing about it is William Hurt.
look at this contrarian fag and laugh
>superhero wins in the end
You don’t say!
How does it feel to be the only person who remembers the Hulk movie's plot?
I hope Abomination comes back at some point, and not as a villain.
I-I remember it too. At the time it was the only MCU movie i wanted to see in theaters
1. Universal literally owns the rights to Hulk solo films, making this something Disney doesn't even want to deal with, which is the actual reason Banner's arc between AoU, TR and IW occurred instead of say a straight Planet Hulk adaptation
2. This movie wasn't particularly liked in part because of weak directing, zak penn's shitty script (thank god marvel stopped hiring him), norton going full primadonna like he always does and marvel editing out major portions to avoid it being too similar to Ang Lee's movie
3. Norton, obviously, was replaced by Ruffalo. This really muddies everything when the lead is a completely different person and they don't even approach the character in the same way.
4. Nothing really important happens in this movie. Don't pretend you care about Bruce and Betty hooking up or Tim Roth was great because he did a few flips before Hulk kicked him into a hospital.
5. Look at the budget versus box office. This probably broke even at absolute best which is the ultimate measure of interest.
Like, yeah, it would be cool to see Abomination fight the Hulk again, especially if they did Masters of Evil or even Thunderbolts, but that's about it. No one is dying to see Tim Blake Nelson's campy Leader.
