If not for him Scooby Doo would have been cancelled in 1979 and remembered now only by a small group of fans as obscure cult classic from 70s.
Was Scrappy a hero we needed, but did not deserve?

As a kid, I liked Scrappy, and when i got older and got the internet, I was kinda surprised by how hated he was
>If not for him Scooby Doo would have been cancelled in 1979
But that is what Scooby Doo deserves
I was fine with Scrappy, I remember one time when I was 8 and my friend began shouting Scrappy's catchphrases I joined him and we had a good laugh about it, though even as a kid I hated how Fred, Daphnie and Velma suddenly went missing
>WB scrubbed The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show from the face of the Earth and it has no home video releases
its on Amazon and Itunes at least, but it triggers my tism there is a huge chunk of the Scooby Doo canon I can't own on home video
Yeah, the disappearance of the others bugged me too. Didn't Velma still make some appearances, though?
Ghoul School sequel when?
After Curse of the 13th Ghost, do you really want that? This actually makes me a bit worried about the Zombie Island follow-up.
Daphne was the only returning regular in later seasons, though Fred and Velma made rare guest-appearances.
Yeah, I'm sure they'll do the "monsters are not real" Crap again.
I hate that shit...There's a reason why the Scooby.Doo movies with real monsters are the most popular.
