Because instead of getting dicked about by [AS] they got dicked around by FX.
They still had three solid seasons, even if it couldn't compete with Frisky Dingo while borrowing half of the good jokes and getting some top tier voice talent again.

I am always impressed with the voice acting in the first few seasons of Archer. The flow and timing of dialogue between characters is insanely natural given it's an animated format.
Then the dialogue became shouting the same memes every episode.

He had a female-led post apocalyptic show that took place in the deep south called Cassius and Clay. The pilot was made but never aired, and they were originally supposed to have a 10 episode season but FX scrapped it.
