The real issue for me is that they are leaving the offside call up to a fallible technological decision which does not account for its own possible inaccuracy.
The solution to this is instead of having a line drawn up by a computer resolve the offside, have the referee go and check to see if there could be possible doubt about whether the line is accurate, and if it's that close: give the goal.
If you're honestly telling me you trust their pitch calibration and the video technology they are using in order to be able to discern offsides, please look at the following examples:
