Noooo you optimise your gain on your 10 year career.
Luke Adams
This. And its not like he hasnt had successes with Ineos. His role there is actually pretty good, he gets enough opportunities in classics and small stage races, he only has to work his ass off in the grand tours. I think Pat is just a bit butthurt.
Owen Richardson
Actually is best year is 2017 with Sky where he wins MSR and Strade bianche so pat is just super buthurt.

Mens madison at track worlds is also on today, gonna be a good day

I'm on the verge of tears by the time we arrive at Sporza, since I'm positive we won't have a decent commentary by José and Michel. But we do, and relief washes over me in an awesome wave.

Finally stream bois I need something to do on my katerdag
its really great, i watched the copenhagen 100 km madison which was pretty insane, they averaged 54 km/h iirc Niki Terpstra and Iljo Keisse won it ahead of Mads Pedersen and Michael Mørkøv

I've commuted on it daily since I built it, don't even lock it up at work. Though it stays behind locked doors and under camera surveillance in an office building. That bike won't even be the first to go if someone decides to steal the bikes, there are much more expensive bikes people commute with.

Btw, it matches with the fall of /cyc/ which turn into a /bet/ like shit thread.
I miss comfy /cyc/ with good fellas like brazilbro.

Madison champions, are you even trying rest of the world?
AXS is such a fucking disaster desu. The derailleur mounted batteries are still shit, the front shifting is still a fucking mess and no one likes the 10 tooth combined with smaller chainrings which is supposed to be the selling point of the group. It's telling that teams are running a supposedly revolutionary 12 speed drivetrain with specially made legacy chainrings in what is essentially a 11 speed configuration.
Time, Look, Yoeleo, Light Bicycle, Hongfu, Dengfu. Embrace the chink carbon, I for one have done so and have absolutely no complaints. About to order some new rims from Light Bicycle soon.

ok yes pucks whole life is unfair but cmon >I dont even have a chance bc I live in fucking Canada if you get results and know people in canada with connections to europe (ie national level coaches, ex pros, current pros, anyone really) its not that hard to get a shot with a french or belgian amateur team to spend a season with em. if your legs are good and you have results to prove it then theres no problem. its like applying for a job. if youre complaining about the abysmal racing infrastructure out here then yes its ass but it shouldnt stop you.
You just know we're gonna have abysmal weather for Paris Roubaix but the race is cancelled.

Time for justice.

somehow, I doubt Ineos will sack him. They're kinda short of trusted domestiques atm. Poels left, Kiriyenka retired, Kwiatkowsky in the state of perpetual crisis since last season. I expect them give another bullshit excuse and just let him be.

STRADE BIANCHI WILL NOT BE CANCELED STRADE BIANCHI WILL NOT BE CANCELED
This thing could've exploded by the time San Remo rolls around, of course RCS wants it to go ahead, but local municipialíties and the state might cancel it if things go even more to shit
They're not going to put out such an announcement without some indication from authorities that it's likely to be possible.
Things can always change, of course.
Justin Wood
I mean there were like 400 more cases today in Italy alone, I can't even imagine where they are in a couple of weeks
Robert Long
lmao just get some Guardia Civil to come and help, quarantine the entire route, and air that shit on TV. No need to ruin it for everyone because you can't be on the side of the route.

Paris - Nice will be good.
>Roglic, Bernal, Quintana and Pogacar in the starting list
Honestly I don't get why these events are cancelled. There are still 1 million of people taking public transport in Paris everyday, why the fuck would you cancel an event where there is at most what 2k people at the end, in an open air situation?

Sponsor and all but I don't get it for the pros. Who'd like to ride an alpine tour stage with a kilo on their bike?
Just bought a di2 disc bike myself. It's mint but not if I my income depended on riding up a mountain the fastest.
Nathaniel Adams
>who'd like to ride an alpine tour stage with disc brake?
Anyone trying to go fast in the descent?
Dylan Kelly
even godly descenders like Nibbles can't win much time by descending alone.
Aiden Sanders
Discs are amazing on descents. Also as long as the bike is 6.8 kg it's fine. You can get there even with a disc bike, even with deep wheels. Though that requires the frame not to be porky and does take some cash money.
It makes a huge difference, and now they can get disc bikes to the 6.8 limit, so there is absolutely no reason not to use them
Oliver Long
Slovenian media reporting that Pogačar will stay in quarantine until march 14th and that there are fears that UAE don't know how to handle the virus since it's already spreading through the hotel where the cyclists are staying in quarantine.
Cowards. It's over, bros. Even if the races won't be cancelled, they're basically dead already with all teams pulling out. No italian classics this weekend for us.
I just had an idea, maybe if the Giro gets cancelled we could get together and do some riding ourselves? I can get camping stuff and maybe some other things (drugs or we could just relax). We can make it happen!
Michael Wright
Can't blame them considering how much of a weak sissy poomoulin is. They need to protect him against any possible illness.
Jayden Garcia
Invite some refugees that are now flooding Europe again to your little tour.
What do you mean, I don't want to hang out with refugees but I just want to chill with my /cyc/ friends! I won't do anything weird I promise, we could just do a ride together and in the evening hang out and maybe do some drugs but it's all voluntary of course. What do you guys think?
