I can only give shits about Baseball and Hockey during the playoffs. Soccer during the WC. Golf once and awhile at the majors. But I feel like this is pretty normal. I'll give most sports a chance, like at the Olympics. Cricket I've had little to no exposure to, so I really don't know. Rugby looks interesting, just haven't bothered to learn any of the rules.

American Football - just too boring. way too many stopages. a lack of fluidity just makes people look for intermediate things to do during the breaks, which end up being more interesting

basketball - too much scoring, makes the sport extremely repititive. theres no shock value or holy shit moment in any basket. the only part of the game with any excitement is the last 5 minutes if the scores are close

i've watched baseball before and it was interesting enough. it plays into my inner autism with the amount of stats, figures and percentages.
