Tyler Lewis
>New York Jets >New York Giants >Both teams' home ground is in New Jersey
Adam Bennett
Realistically, where would you place an 80k+ stadium with ample parking and public transportation in NYC? Just not possible.
Easton Myers
Roosevelt Island
Grayson Russell
>Realized Metlife is larger than Yankee Stadium I thought baseball is the no.1 sport in NY
Luke Allen
they got that in fucking dortmund are you telling me NYC cant do it?
Ryder Anderson
There’s only 1 subway stop and 1 way in and out of the island by car through Astoria. Would be a logistical nightmare. Don’t even think the island is wide enough to hold a stadium the size of MetLife.
Angel Torres
i understood all of this except the jeffrey mayuh whats that one mean?
Jayden Cox
Dortmand ain't NYC you dumbass kraut
Asher Allen
He’s the kid that interfered in the playoff game in 1996. Nabbed a ball that caused a Jeter HR. Back when Yankee Stadium had soul.
ofxit isnt, but logistical it shouldnt be a problem people wanting to go there even less, 5mil vs like 15 mil full house every day
Joshua Cox
its about travel and real estate
Christopher Myers
There's no room you fucking retard. It's a 15 minute drive to New Jersey.
Grayson Torres
sure, but even if its in new jersey or what ever and you can max it out on a regular i dont see how this wont be a profit
Landon Cox
gabagool? ova here!

You don't understand how dense Manhattan and the other boroughs are.

What part of NYC are you lads from?

Jacob Rodriguez
Is this character an honourable man? Should he be emulated in other cultures?
Are you retarded. Imagine the universal butthurt that building a fucking stadium in Central park will cause. Even the most hardcore republican won't dare to allow that to happen
Adrian James
Why wouldn't they? There's enough room. Isn't a lot of central park pretty bare anyway?
William Gutierrez
Daily reminder that 70% of New Yorkers have herpes
Jaxon Johnson
Only spot I can think of is the area in College Point by where the New York Times building is. Only thing is that there isn't much public transportation in that area. Would never happen, Central Park is a US Landmark. Plus NYC is pushing going green like crazy, they would never take away or develop any parks that are in place right now. They are only looking to add more parks.
Andrew Carter
you are 100 percent confirmed murican italian mutt
Samuel Brown
There would be more but the Dodgers and (baseball) Giants moved to California. Also the football Giants have a couple Super Bowls. I'm not too familiar with hockey but I think the Rangers are supposed to have won the NHL Finals at one point.
Joshua Lopez
Football only has 8 home games per season, nearly always on Sunday, they can have ridiculous capacities on a per-game basis.
It's about the availability of space Hans, Dortmund and that whole area being a dreary shithole is exactly why you can stick a massive stadium there. Building a stadium of that size in a huge, densely populated city is an expensive nightmare, look at the London soccer teams and how long it's taken them to build the Emirates and whatever Spurs are calling their new place.
Brayden Robinson
It wouldn't take up the whole park and we could make it green, with trees and gardens growing on the roof for birds and that kind of shit. You know, what you need is more Irish mayors, these Jews and Italians are lacking in vision.
Jonathan Carter
t. tyrone dibiaggio jr
Jayden Long
>what you need is more Irish mayors I think your people have done enough damage to this country
This is a New York sports thread buddy, nobody wants to hear about hablogroup conspiracies or lizard people or any of that other bullshit. If you opinion on the potential redevelopment of Central Park into a future rugby stadium consists of ranting about the heritage of the former presidents that you helped to elect, well I'm not so sure that you're contributing well to the conversation now.
