Americans, redpill me on this area Yea Forumswise (and otherwise)
I only know about the San Jose Earthquakes, but I don't want to support a team with such a stupid name, is there any other football/soccer team I could support in the region?
Also, what about handegg or basketball teams in the region? Anyone good with comfy stadiums?
Hey lad, I was born and raised in the San Jose area and I actually lived in Sunnyvale when I was a baby (my parents lived in Sunnyvale till they got enough money to move out like most tech immigrants do in the area) I played for the Earthquakes academy for 2 years. Please support our team with a retarded name and development system.
Asher Perry
barely but the Eiffel region might explode in a couple of centuries
Isaiah Garcia
are you moving there?
Jayden James
Stupid name but decent infrastructure
Leo Harris
kek, is it a shithole?
I have to move there in January for at least 6 months, my company chose the apartment for me so I had no say in this (it looks nice from the pics tho)
I guess I'll buy a gun vest immediately when I arrive there....
Is your club's stadium at least comfy? How much is it to attend a game?
Cameron Fisher
Lots of high tech companies there, and jewgle, apple, facebook next door. Might be the most high income area around the world, other than some financial districts. So yeah, nerds don't care about sports. also, the housing price is over the fucking roof.
Mason Martin
You fucking kraut lmao you’re going to be in the middle of the Silicon Valley surrounded by rich Asian techfags and effete white yuppies. No one is going to shoot you. You’re going to Sunnyvale, not Saint Louis Missouri. You’re going to be in one of the most expensive places in the USA and you won’t see a lot of white people 2bh.
Jack Phillips
Avista stadium is fucking right next to the airport and looks retardedly artificial, I’m not sure how much a game costs. Just come to east San Jose on the weekend and play with the drunk Mexicans/Salvadorans, they quality of play is better
Jack Clark
MLS: Quakes NHL: SJ Sharks NBA: GS Warriors Handegg: SF 49ers Boreball: SF Giants
If you're here in Jan. That's right in the middle of NBA/NHL season.
Eli Cox
That's what I thought, the other Sunnyvale user just made it seem like people flee the place once they get enough money to get out (which is usually what people in shitholes do)
I don't have a problem with (East) Asians 2bh One of my best pals growing up was Vietnamese, top tier lad
And as for yuppies, oh well still better than gangbanging blacks, I don't want to live in one of those neighborhoods you have over there where you can't go outside at night unarmed.
What about handegg or basketball games? Is it possible to go to those spontaneously or do you need a season ticket or be a member or something like that?
Lucas Ward
they only sell tickets in pairs. Most stadiums have a strict no single policy. You'll be ask politely to leave
Jace Ortiz
Honestly, your biggest concern will be cost of living and traffic. Really good strip club in that area though iirc
I do hope I'll make some American friends there who could then go with me.....or I'll just go with my 40 something boss lol
Anyway, thanks Even though I don't really care for your sports I might as well check it out while temporarily living in your country.
Based, thanks How's the public transportation there btw, there does seem to be a train going and stopping in the city Can one use it as a respectable person?
Nathaniel Collins
>shootings don't happen in affluent Californian communiti-
Quakes are the only soccer team, San Francisco 49ers play football pretty close by in Santa Clara and the Sharks hockey team plays in downtown SJ. If you want to watch basketball I'd suggest going to a college game if you want to get warriors tickets be prepared to sell your kidneys. If you like baseball Giants play in SF and the A's (far superior team) play in Oakland both abt an hour away.
Jaxon Kelly
Our public transit is OK by American standards but probably shit compared to Germany. Sunnyvale is not a shithole at all in fact parts of it are really nice, it sort of depends where in Sunnyvale you are living but its really nice. And yeah I know there's the stereotype about Americans and guns but no one in this area has guns and you're way more likely to die from a car crash than from guns (anywhere in the country)
Chase Moore
>kek, is it a shithole? lolno it's nearly Beverly Hills/Vancouver tier expensive. good luck if you're moving there.
Jace Perez
The fuck? I live about 15 min north of sunnyvale.
Its basically techyville. Lots of pajeets. Mountain view is the same except a but nicer as you move towards Palo Alto which is too expensive.
As for sports, you've got Stanford, 49ers and Earthquakes in Santa Clara. Giants and Warriors about 45 min drive north.
I'd advise you not to come here if you dont have a well paying source of income lined up.
Jack Jones
expensive =/= not a shithole
Aiden Roberts
intellectually inbred super expensive dystopian tech-hell
Angel Evans
It's ok, but your salary must be more than 100k, if it's try living in a cheaper area. Bay area public transit isn't bad.
Brayden Williams
wow even the germans on Yea Forums are super rich tech guys, incredible.
Hunter Bailey
It means no blacks so it's not a shithole.
Liam Anderson
dont forget Cal
Carter Lopez
I have practically no choice desu, I'm going there to help start up our new American headquarters.
Again, I have no say in where I want to live there, but I don't have to pay rent (my company takes care of that) and the apartment and immediate neighborhood seem very nice
lol, I'm not super rich at all I'm doing okay, but am certainly not rich.
Anyway, thanks for all the infos Hope it's gonna be a good time.
Pls don't start any civil war or anything while I'm in your country, Ameribros
Caleb Martinez
Oh shit, they are gonna pay your rent. That's fucking amazing, rent is a real huge problem there. Enjoy silicon Valley dude. You are lucky that you aren't gonna keep worrying about rent like others. Try renting or even buy a car btw. Drive around California and maybe go to vegas if you have time. The gasoline is expensive in California but I think it's still cheaper than in germnay
