Why /hsfbg/? So we can discuss what games we are watching. Why the wing-t is a meme. What position you played and how good you did when you played. Do you coach, ref, or participate in any way?
Does your state have a good league? Do you have a single site for the state championships?
Who has the best league and why is it Texas? Who has the best players and why is it Florida?
Discuss football at its purest competitive form here.
Tv tonight: Stadium has two for Friday. Fox sports southwest has live look ins. Other anons should post livestream links here.
One user asked if it is weird if he goes to a game where he had no affiliation with either school. The answer is no, just go and leave early if the game sucks.
What makes hs football great?
1. Community. Get to mingle with the local population. 2. Band plays. 3. Games can get really good. Coaches role the dice a lot more on fourth down. 4. Interesting uniforms. Some original others are stolen nfl and college logos with different color schemes. 5.strategy diversity. Some unique stuff gets seen at the hs level. Flexbone, T, wing-t, splitback veer, wishbone, single wing, I, power I, and run n shoot still found here. 6. Great coaching and discipline often beats out poorly coached talent. It happens often. 7. Cheap concessions and admission and good view of the field. 8. The cheerleaders and drill team girls are bonus eye candy for some of you lonely boys.
