For example at Submission Underground, with basically MMA rules and no strikes? Khabib wins. They tuck their head smugly, because both their arms are taken by both your arms. If the 12-6 elbows were allowed, and you attempted it, then you would have 1 arm fighting their 2 arms. Meaning you are sitting on your ass within a nanosecond of you lifting your arm.

The 12/6 elbows to the back of the head while in the middle of a takedown is a position that would last such a short period, that nothing could be done within it. As soon as you attempt a strike you lost your leverage and the position is gone. You won't even get to land it.

That's how Tony cuts someone up nearly every fight and I believe Tony started with boxing and wrestling first and then started to add more and more techniques. Now he's one of the most diverse strikers in the ufc. Walker's clinch work vs Rountree was scary though, that elbow actually sounded like a bat lol and knees are especially brutal since you're using your biggest muscles for that movement. Leg kicks are brutal too. Gaethje, Barboza, and Aldo all have really powerful leg kicks.
