>stronger Stronger doesn't mean shit when it's not top club vs shit club, especially on a single match. Atalanta managed to get 4th place by running more than everyone in Serie A, a league where every 30 seconds there's someone rolling on the floor and the action takes 2 minutes to start back again. In Europe, few teams excluded, everyone's used to go faster. Not as a matter of simple speed but of play times. A foul is called against you? You better hurry the fuck up and get back in place because they're sure as fuck not waiting for you to stop bitching. This means that Italian teams will be constantly gassed and not just in the later part of the match, because players will lack the usual time of recovering after every action. Now if literally the only thing you did to get to Champions League is running faster than the other Italian teams, European teams won't bat an eye and will embarass you. You have to bring a solid tactical plan because the only advantage even the shittest Serie A players have compared to others is that they're not absolute brainlets in matter of tictocs.

If Lukaku is forced to play back to the goal 30m outside the box of course he's going to be shit. I don't rate him but he's completely right. And I'm a Romafag , the world reknown expert team in being devoid of motivation before an important match.

Did anyone watch PSG - Real last night? How did /ourguy/ play?
Lukaku didn't play badly just because he didn't receive service, he could barely barely stop a ball and make an accurate pass. The whole team was shit and pathetic we agree but he was just as bad as everyone else, the only one with a decent showing was once again Sensi and maybe Politano

The game felt a lot like a Spalletti game, where the team constantly tries to do the same thing even when it's clear that it's not working. Lukaku is definitely not a falso nueve like player that can get balls with the back towards the goal, because his first touch is shite and he himself knows it, judging by how he panicked and got mugged by a CB whenever the ball flew towards him. He's a tap in merchant just like Icardi, only that he relies more on shoving defenders around instead of positioning himself well. Pretending anything else from him (as well as insisting in starting him despite him clearly not being in full condition) is a managerial mistake. Lautaro should play the derby, sure he fell asleep on two very good balls but at least he got there.
Angel Evans

Sink how? user we won with Sassuolo and Istanbul. Don't fly too high, we're literally going full muh offense with no defense. Nobody knows what will happen apart that it's gonna involve a lot of goals and we might have fun™. Clubwise the situation is still shit and just last Thursday Baldissoni made a point that either they manage to build the stadium or Roma becomes "on the same level as Sassuolo in Europe" (he's hopefully exaggerating but after the bond they took last summer it seems clear no more money is going to come from the backers behind Pallotta), that they won't sign players over 27 yo except on loan, more cuts to the wages and that there's basically no chance they'll manage to buy Zappacosta, Smalling and Mkhitaryan in case they do well, which is why they have no buy clause on their loan. And this is not linked to reaching CL.
Jeremiah Moore
>"on the same level as Sassuolo in Europe" Also in italy

Tbh all solid choices, Pina is going to explode this season. League is in a really good place at the moment, you have Cagliari - Genoa tonight and even that is outta be a fun game with quality players on both sides.

When something doesn't work, I like to understand why and improve it. On the high balls (against Atletico) we did not give them enough attention and aggression but this can be solved.
At this time, the team must be organised and this can only be done by seeking continuity in key positions. If someone is fatigued, we will make the necessary changes.
Dybala arrived in late August and is not in top condition. However, he can still give us great help now.
Is he trying to justify his obsession with playing with the same 12-13 players? Even with the fucking depth Juve has? Embarassing
Jaxon Cooper
In the future, I see Bernardeschi specialising as a midfielder and not as an external striker. But right now, I need him in attack. We will help him to do his best: he is a player with very great qualities.
Isaac Hill
I think he's trying to force the team to play by heart and when he's satisfied he'll introduce the other players in small steps

>In Italy we’re obsessed with rotation. I played over 60 games in England last season and there are teams that do it all with 14 players. allegri rotated and they were all gassed by the ajax game. i'd prefer he used subs quicker though. bench players stay more motivated if they get to play 30mins instead of 10

Milan have announced that they will debut an anti-racism taskforce during tomorrow’s derby with Inter.
Serie A has once more been marred by racist incidents in recent weeks, with Romelu Lukaku and Franck Kessie abused by Cagliari and Verona fans.
Given the exposure of tomorrow’s derby, Milan will use the occasion to promote a campaign that aims to stamp out discrimination in stadia and on social media.
“Italian football needs to wake up and take a strong stance against racist behaviours,” CEO Ivan Gazidis told the club’s official website.
“AC Milan will take a leadership position on this issue, promoting basic human values that are relevant to us all.
“Football provides a powerful example of the strength of unity and teamwork. Diversity, inclusion and tolerance enhance the strength of the team, the club and of society as a whole.
“We believe that we have a moral obligation to do everything we can to address this issue.
“This first significant step aims to visibly demonstrate that we will be proactive in our efforts to tackle racism in football.
“These values transcend football rivalries and we are delighted to have the support of FC Inter for this initiative.”
The showdown at San Siro is being billed the ‘Derby Against Racism’ as Inter’s players will have a photo taken with their rivals in a sign of unity before kick-off.
“I am pleased that AC Milan is taking action to address one of the most important issues in our game and our society,” added Rossoneri President Paolo Scaroni.
“This club has a powerful voice and I believe we can play an important role in the fight against racism.”

I don't think I know a single chant that isn't based of some widely known song, you can't expect hundreds if not thousands of people to sing the same song at the same time in a tune that they don't know. This is how folk songs always worked, you come up with some lyrics that fit a widely known tune and let it spread by itself.

Serie A favourite Antonio Cassano says he is backing Inter for the Scudetto and Mario Balotelli to work his way back into the Italy squad.
Inter appointed ex-Juventus and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte over the summer and broke their transfer record to sign Romelu Lukaku, while Balotelli is looking to re-announce himself for club and country with newly-promoted Brescia.
“Inter will win the Scudetto,” Cassano told Corriere della Sera.
“My friend Montella’s Fiorentina will be the surprise packages: they’re one of the few teams who know how to play and have fun.
“It’ll be enough for Balotelli to have a good season and score a few goals. He’s a good player like the others in the Italy squad. The truth is that from the midfield up, there’s only Chiesa and Insigne.
“Inter will go through in the Champions League because they’re stronger than Borussia Dortmund; Napoli and Juve will have no problems. Atalanta also have a good chance, City aside.”
So is Cassano going for an Italian side to win the Champions League?

>"The Board of Directors has approved the draft financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2019, which shows revenues of € 621.5 million and a loss of € 39.9 million", reports Juventus in the official press release published on its own site.
>The last financial year ended June 30 shows revenues of 621.5 million, a record for Andrea Agnelli's club, which at the same time however recorded a loss of 39.9 million euros, a negative change of 20.7 million compared to the loss of the previous year, mainly due to higher costs for licensed personnel, amortization and write-downs on players' registration rights, as well as higher taxes and financial charges, as well as additional operating costs.

Inter & AC Milan To Launch Limited Edition Beer Cans In Association With Peroni
Inter and AC Milan have teamed up with Birra Peroni to release limited edition beer cans dedicated to 10 memorable Milan derby moments, the clubs have both revealed.
Five cans will be dedicated to Inter and the other five to Milan and will feature team graphics from the memorable matches.
Peroni is already the official beer sponsor of both clubs and has been for just over a year and the latest products of their partnership will be put on the market later this month.
is there one about that time an inter customer was so desperate to stop Milan from scoring another goal that he ran unto the pitch ti beg Costacurta to stop?

No one really cared about jj even when they reached CL final several times in this decade but once TSU went to jj i started seeing little kids in jj's jersey (with ronaldo on the back ofc), teens and even grown men in jj merch. Naturally everything had the new ugly jj logo instead of the old one. If they got popular even here i can't imagine how much money Agnelli made from countries that actually pay for merch instead of buying cheap chinese replicas for kids (tees, polo shirts and tracksuits i saw were probably legit since we have legit adidas stores).

David Butler
Are you ready to witness the glorious 4-3-1-1-1 system?(suso on the wing, a """"trequartista""" and pionkek)

It's not like ritardo is a good defensive full-back anyway
Higuain has two more years on his contract wih a 7.5 millions a year pay check. If i were him i would just sat back and said "whatever". By the time his contract expires he's going to be almost 34, good time to retire

Xavier Turner
Is there a more peadosexual looking coach than Juric in Serie A?
Piggy thinks he is better than he really is, like he is a top player or something and he is desperate to prove himself and to have recognition, he is not going to bench himself.
Joshua Parker
The only deserved victory this season might be against Napoli and even there they almost lost it
Nathaniel James
