Why are so many people going for the cheapest GK combo possible (4.5+4.0)? Everyone I see has Ryan/Pope with Button. Why not at least get two 4.5 GKs so that you can rotate them, which was a common tactic in the past?

I've got Pope + Gunn and it's been great so far. They rotate well and you just start the one that has the easier fixture. That 0.5m is the difference makes a pretty significant difference in weeks like this when your second keeper gets 9 points while everyone else is stuck with 2-3 because they didn't have an alternative.

I used to do that and most of the time I'd pick the wrong one i.e Jakupovic and Etheridge, so I just started picking a set and forget keeper from a shit team for the save points and the rare cleansheet

If you think the extra 0.5m will get a better return somewhere else then you should do it. Two 4.5s is okay but generally you probably don’t get much more by rotating. Too hard to predict what will happen.
