Congrats on your comeback victory Tigers
boyd has some talent. he just needs to stop giving up the long dongs. he'll probably be important for the tigers in the future
How many more games does Detroit have to lose at home to beat the record?
What did Frazier do?
they'd have to lost 9 more to beat the home losses from their 2003 disaster. I'm working on seeing if there's any historical teams that have worse than 58 home losses
Looks like they have 11 home games left. I have faith that they can do it. But it looks like they won't beat their record. Now I can only hope that they tie.
so I looked at the worst seasons in MLB history, and the worst ones of all time had imbalanced schedules that allowed for way more away games than home games.
The closest comparisons to the tigers this year that I could find were the 03 tigers and the '62 Mets. The tigers would have to play exceptionally bad baseball, but it looks like if they only won 2 more games and lost 9, they could beat the '62 Mets 22-58 home record. that record is worse than the '03 Tigers 23-58
but they have 4 games with the Orioles and 3 with the Sox, so those will probably be crucial for determining what happens
earlier? misplayed a fly ball
so another typical outing
basically
nice catch there though
Tigers are still a better franchise this decade.
More world series appearances
>oblique strain for eddie
well that solves the infield playoff roster problem i guess
>be out of country for past 2 months so can't catch any tiggers games
>on pace to be worst team ever
fuck this horseshit franchise and owner who doesn't want to spend money, fuck old farts with big contracts and fuck uh new york?
Which country? I would want to leave Detroit too.
Kenny seems like he's over this day.
Oh fuck that I don't live in Detroit thank christ
Was in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and now visiting parents in Canada so I can finally stream games. I actually enjoy Yankee games because it makes me remember 2011 and think about how great >our pitching was then
QUICKLY JUDGED
I really want to go to Switzerland and Austria. I'm in the process of getting Italian citizenship because all of my grandparents were born there and I'm going to travel around Europe after it gets processed. Which parts of Switzerland did you visit?
Yeah those were pretty much my two favorite spots of the trip. For Switzerland I used Bern as my base for 5 days while getting over initial jetlag and stayed plenty busy there. Plenty of day trips you can take to gorgeous places like Thun. I'm sure western Swiss is nice too but it's a little out of the way and I don't know much German at all. Anyways, Bern is a fantastic city but goddamn does everyone fucking smoke there and things are stupidly expensive from USD POV
