Funnel everyone into four (4) conferences; each conference having four (4) divisions. The four (4) division winners have a conference playoff. The four (4) conference winners have a national playoff like what we do right now.
That gives us a sixteen (16) team playoff with no comittee faggotry or computer bullshit or anything that compromises the championship. Win your division and you're in. Don't, and we'll see you next year. And since we already have conference championship games, we're only adding one (1) week of games to the overall schedule.

The Objectively best way to determine a champion is to take the best (ranked by some computer[Sagarin] or committee/poll[AP]) 2 or 4 (your choice) undefeated teams (minimum of 12 FBS opponents) and have them play for the championship. If there are not enough undefeated teams then pick the best 1-loss teams to fill out the ranks, if there are not enough go to 2-loss teams...

1.Its objective.
2.All games matter.
3.Tougher schedules/better wins get rewarded by computer/committee rank compared to other teams with the same number of losses
4.There are only so many 'weak' FBS schools to play.
5.It will never be adopted because:
