Name one time Messi did a trick in a game. Dude doesn't even do stepovers, he should have one star skills.

Ronaldo last season had 0.3 tackles a game, 0.2 interceptions. Messi had 0.4 tackles, 0.1 interceptions.
Also Ronaldo had one clearance a game, Messi didn't even register enough to get the stat.
Not to mention Ronaldo is consistently the best forward at defending corners.

think firmino is a hard card to rate, his workrate and defensive abilities are what makes him a great player and if they put them to a realistic level hed become a 93+ and people would just play him as a CM or something

Yeah, you're probably right. You can see this even with his normal card. People stick him at CM or CAM all the time. Even more so with his Flashback TOTY card that he got this year. Plays like Gullit. Having said that, there's no reason at all that he shouldn't have 5 star skill moves.

FIFA makes defenders faster than attackers anyways so it's a pointless stat. 40 pace means they have 80 pace in game.

Because a few years ago, the only way to win games was to pick the ball up in your defence, send your striker running through their defence while you played it over the top and leaving yourself with an easy 1v1 since their defenders could never, ever catch up.
