I think a big problem was that no one, or at least not a lot of notable people, were questioning what they were protesting about. No one was denying the injustices (which they should have because there weren't any), just that it wasn't right to kneel to the national anthem/flag.

The thing is most of these cities are great, as long as you avoid the black neighborhoods. DC, Nashville, Miami, Atlanta, Philly, and New Orleans are great cities with tons of history and culture as long as you just avoid blacks.
