The Euros are a meme that anyone can qualify for now, you can literally come third in a group of 5 that only has one decent team and qualify. Finland are honestly fairly likely to make it.

Okay, so I didn't realise it was some Nations League thing and you can't come third (unless you do qualify otherwise for the NL thing).
But doesn't this mean that those playoffs will just have 16 teams who were all not good enough to finish top 2 in their group, and therefore will be exclusively made up of shit teams? And quite frankly I'm not confident that the "best" of these sides will win, I don't know who's set to go into those playoffs but hypothetically it doesn't seem that difficult for teams I mentioned before (Kosovo, Luxembourg etc.) to beat a couple of other shitters and make it to the Euros.

I think its fair to say that Finland deserves to qualify.

Finland hasn't ever qualified for anything, yet now they should qualify pretty easily because it's so easy since the expansion to 24 teams.
And yes the general quality of teams outside the European elite has fallen quite a lot I would say.
Anyway, just making it to the Euros is no longer any kind of achievement. I suppose my real point is that Finns should be aiming higher, for the knockouts, since that is roughly equal to how difficult just qualifying was with 16 teams.

I think you forget that Europe has now much more nations than before, so the actual % of european countries qualifying hasnt really increased a lot.

I mean for example Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Kosovo used to be just Yugoslavia.
