Apart from the last World Cup, Rakitic has been phoning it in for us for a long time. Vlasic looked so much better alongside Modric and Brozovic in the midfield, and I hope he continues to start even if Rakitic comes back, which he probably will.

I'd rather we concentrate on youth as well. Vlasic pretty much showed that he should be a starter and Kovacic will come back soon and Badelj is the best player to come in as a sub. And a lot of young players are around the age of 21 waiting to be given a chance.

For me the Croatian De Bruyne should start over Rakitić.

Bartolec is offensively better than Vrsaljko so he should suffice for now. Overall I think Fran Karačić is better while Boško Šutalo is the most promissing for the future.
