Mutts actually think the Tards who live north that act as LARPers for a country they're not even from are more based than us just because queers can't get married there.
That's literally it.
Stay seething mainlander. Imagine not making it to a final you're hosting.

It's okay. Mostly just torture porn and muh ira fighters good boys dindu nuffin
Just watch Derry Girls instead.
based
watch The Crying Game
>not Patriot Games
Ah yes, the brutalisers of Belarus and the exterminators of Estonia
The best British film is actually Borat
Ali G movie was better
than Bruno, but Borat was the best of the trilogy
Agreed.
Also like
-Monty Python
-Trainspotting
-Submarine
-Paddington
-Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz/The World's End
Where are you ranking The Dictator?
Bruno was awful.
Borat > Ali G > The Dictator >>> Bruno
Personally can't stand anything by Monty Python.
If you like the Cornetto Trilogy stuff there's a newish movie called Slaughterhouse Rulez which is a decent easy watching comedy. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are more in supporting roles though. It's like a harry potter spoof.
Lowest obviously as anyone should. It's actually quite bad. Compared to borat and ali g which are masterpieces
What about Tintin? Not directed by Edgar Wright but he wrote it and it has Pegg and Frost in it.
Also love Spaced the TV series if you haven't seen it.
Paddington 1 and 2 are shockingly good.
A pretty crappy song
The animated version? I did watch it but I can't remember a lot, it was during the boozy christmas and new years period but what I remember was good. The Paddington movies are fantastic, I was fighting back the tears during the popup book sequence where his aunt visits London.
How about:
-National Velvet (Clarence Brown, 1944)
-Brief Encounter (David Lean, 1945)
-Hamlet (Laurence Olivier, 1948)
-The Curse of Frankenstein (Terence Fisher, 1957)
-Dracula (Terence Fisher, 1958)
-The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (Martin Ritt, 1965)
-The Italian Job (Peter Collinson, 1969)
-Kes (Ken Loach, 1969)
-Get Carter (Mike Hodges, 1971)
-The Man Who Would Be King (John Huston, 1975)
-Withnail and I (Bruce Robinson, 1987)
-Tyrannosaur (Paddy Considine, 2011)
On my "to watch" list. Seen any of these?
Only the Italian Job. My parents are mostly into spaghetti westerns so I never really watched a lot of old British movies growing up, except stuff like Bedknobs and Broomsticks which I probably watched a thousand times, great movie.
I see. Did you ever see Spaced? It's a telly series by the Corrento trilogy people and I think you'd like it. The director also did Scott Pilgrim and Baby Driver but I was indifferent to those. His next film is set in London so I'm looking forward to that.
Yeah I watched all of it, it's probably been about 15 years since I watched it though, the paintballing episode sticks with me the most and the A-team remix.
The IT Crowd is pretty similar too.
IT Crowd is from the same writers as Father Ted, dunno if you watched that but it's good.
Made a list of my favourite British films:
1964 - Goldfinger
1975 - Monty Python and the Holy Grail
1978 - Watership Down
1979 - Alien
1995 - Goldeneye
1996 - Trainspotting
2002 - About a Boy
2002 - Ali G Indahouse
2004 - Shaun of the Dead
2006 - Borat
2006 - Casino Royale
2007 - Hot Fuzz
2010 - Submarine
2013 - The World's End
2014 - '71
2014 - Paddington
2017 - Paddington 2
You might like Kevin and Perry Go Large, very saucy though, wouldn't recommend watching it with your parents.
Will do sir. As an Englishman here in the USA it annoys me that Harry Potter is the most known British film to yanks..
The liquidisors of Luxembourg
I admire Northern Ireland' spirit. Would bust a nut if they actually won.
As an American in the USA it tickles me that everyone in my peer group will understand any Holy Grail reference, but "he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy" elicits blank stares.
Also, if you really like Monty Python, you might like Brazil, very similar, basically if Monty Python created 1984
Fair.
Ah yeah been meaning to watch that one. Have seen 1984 with John Hurt but don't remember it.
I've always meant to watch Plague Dogs but I think I'd cry too much
Surprisingly never heard of that one until now. Bookmarked.
Gonna watch, Slaughterhouse Rulez tonight. Though since I don't know who you are I'll just randomly post my thoughts in the actual NI vs Germany thread and just assume you read it.
I post in /cric/ mostly but I'll keep an eye out on any NI threads
I'm not much a film buff but I saw that one in a film studies class ages ago. I always liked Time Bandits too.
No problem I can post in cric. Still funny to think it cricket finally came home.
Nvm Slaughterhouse Rulez isn't available to rent on Amazon :/
Just remember to introduce yourself as a sebgang member to infuritate the pozzies
Will do
Since we are in an NI thread, I would recommend "The Cured" It's a zombie movie set in Northern Ireland after a zombie outbreak, the zombies have been cured and remember everything they did and are now treated like second class citizens, it's quite similar to the BBC series 'in the flesh' which follows the same premise.
Wait no it's republic of ireland, still good anyway.
>Ellen Page
I'll pass.
Just watched it. I enjoyed it
literally who lol
A year from now they'll have more Euros than Brasil will ever.
Fuck off fattie, this song is supposed to be flattering to us
We've stopped singing it after the 7-1 debacle tbqh
I have no doubt that Germany will purposely lose to Northern Ireland just to cuck us out of an EC again.
Northern Ireland will purposely lose to Holland to cuck Germany out of a ec
Soon Brazillians will sing were not Northern Ireland were Brazil
40 dollars would be a lot to you
Why are y'all always defending us?
Well done Chapo here is a dollar for a beer.
>not a single German post ITT
People really don't give a shit about our national team anymore
They're resigned to their horrible fate
>mainlander
You're not even on the same continent you fucking mong.
>mainlander
Yikes just call them pakis
CHAD Northern Ireland
VIRGIN Great Britain
Says the Brexiters
Bruno was better the 2nd time I watched it. Turned off at the talking willy the 1st time.
Traitors to the Irish Republic, you can not defeat any nation.
but how are they not more based? ireland is all about holding referendums about social issues and voting for the left wing option every single time
