Guys I need to understand something: Once the race winner passes the line when does the race actually finish? When drivers pass the line after (even if they are lapped)? Or do the 10 first drivers have to do the maximum amount of laps?

>doesn't know anything about image file formats Fixed it for you bro. Notice that the JPG is about 1/8th the size of the PNG, but has an image quality that is essentially indistinguishable.
Photographs should be saved as JPGs. PNG is a lossless format that is best for simple graphics, like black text on a white background, or a logo which only features a few colours. When used for photographs the file sizes become ridiculously large. JPG is meant for photographs. It uses compression to reduce the file size greatly. The image quality difference will be imperceptible to everybody apart from imaging experts, and yet the file size will be greatly reduced. This is why nobody uses PNG for photographs.
That file size is not so bad because it's a small image. For larger images the difference will be much bigger though. But PNG still makes no sense for photographs. The image quality difference will be imperceptible, yet the file size of a PNG for a photograph will be unnecessarily large. It will just take you longer to upload your image, and it will deter people from viewing it because it will take them longer to load the image. Also some people might have data caps (thankfully I don't, but some do).
Most photographic images you get off the internet should be JPGs anyway. If you are taking screenshots, make sure you're saving them as JPGs if they're photographic (if they're just black text on a white background then save as a PNG). Otherwise many people might not look at your image, and it will take you longer to upload it too.
Nathaniel Rodriguez
Excuse me, sir. Do you have ANY idea how slow you were loading?
that thing would have done nothing to the driver lol, henry surtees got a fucking wheel in the face, Wilson got hit by literally the whole nose from another car
Again, that image makes zero sense as a PNG, especially as you can see it has already been through JPG compression, which you can notice by the artefacts. Here it is as a JPG which is less than 1/7th the size.
No friendo, this is basic knowledge, you should probably acquaint yourself with the internet a bit more before making posts on it.

You're wrong, retard. And your link "explains" nothing. Lossless formats are ALWAYS preferable to lossy formats, unless you run out of space (not a problem nowadays) or bandwith, or if you have filesize limits. Arguing that PNG makes no sense, when professional photographers avoid JPG like the plague, just shows how retarded you are.
No, it won't. Not for photographic images. PNG for photographic images can be 7 - 8x as large as a JPG for the same image although that depends on compression level. That size difference is a good level of compression on a JPG though - significant file size reduction while the visual difference will be essentially imperceptible.
Professional photographers use RAW you fucking moron. But your smartphone camera? Almost always will save as JPG because it makes no sense to take up space with lossless images when a JPG will offer essentially imperceptibly different image quality for a fraction of the space.
Like I said, larger images on Yea Forums are just going to take longer to upload and longer to download for people trying to view the image. Thankfully I have no download cap but some people do, and this might make them not look at your image too. This is an image board, not a professional stock photography sharing platform. Although if you were sharing professional stock photography then fine, use a lossless format (although such files would probably be too big to upload here). But for shitposting, PNG photographs don't make any sense.
>take screenshot in jpg UGLY and blurry >take screenshot in papaneuguinea CRISP and clear

>Professional photographers use RAW you fucking moron. Yes. A lossless format. Guess who's the moron here.
>JPG will offer essentially imperceptibly different image quality It won't. You have no idea how JPG compression works, or you wouldn't spout that shit.
>I have no download cap but some people do, and this might make them not look at your image too. Their loss. Some people want to share high quality photographs. We don't always have to cater to the least five percent of third-worlders and phoneposters just so they can open the image as well. There's no need to bottleneck ourselves.
Jace Brooks
>implying bandwidth is the issue when Yea Forums servers are slow af
Friendly reminder that JPEG is a completely fine image format for web usage and 99% of images posted here are already compressed in some form (usually JPEG or H.264) and converting them to PNG is waste of time.
>converting them to PNG No one does that, retard. It's about images that either aren't compressed to begin with, or images that might have a compressed source (like a screencap from a video) that then would get further compressed if you saved it as a JPG. Image quality does not always matter, but when there's even the smallest change it might, don't sacrifice it for a bit more harddisk space or bandwith.

You really don't think every other team apart from mercedes would happily sign Vettel if they got the chance?
Okay realistically yes he will have another season or two with Ferrari, I guess we'll have to see how they go. Then after his Ferrari career eventually ends maybe he'll do a Kimi and go to a backmarker team. Or maybe he'll just leave altogether.
It's interesting he's clearly thinking about it though because I think it was at the beginning of that press conference he said something like "in 5 years time, when I probably won't be here anymore" or something along those lines.
Bottas just got resigned. Although yes that was just for a year so maybe you're right.

If there is one team which had unnecessary changes in the last 5 year in his roster it was Crapnault.

That's not how it works. Hulkenberg had a 3 year contract (ending this year), Sainz was loaned and as such had just 1 year contract. The jew wanted Retardo badly too (probably to have his petty revenge on Horner). The fact they now dump Hulk for Ocon proves they don't give much more of a shit about him than they did about Sainz.

>Which Alonso never really had in his time at Ferrari. good job falling for the "Alonso drove a shitbox into championship contention using only his skill and determination" meme.
Noah Murphy
You can argue that the McLaren was second best, yes, but Hamilton really fucked up in all those years and posed no thread to him. So Alonso had nothing to complain about there. He was just pissed that Red Bull dominated, and in that regard, his situation is not too differently from Vettel's now. With the notable difference that the Red Bull at its strongest (2011/2013) was not even remotely as dominant as the Mercedes at its weakest (2018, maybe?).
