You can always tell someone doesn't understand football when they rate Zidane. He did some cool tricks (that got him nowhere during the play) - that's about it. If you go back and watch him, all his passes are either behind the designated player (slowing down the play) or far ahead of him (giving defenders a chance to track back and cover).
