>be backup QB in 0-8 high school team
>literaly so trash did not play 1 game for a team that went 0-8
>starter QB quits
>"guess we have to play him"
>college, 7th string QB
>worked his ass off to be the backup QB
>starter graduates
>"guess we have to play him"
>coaches want to replace him with a superbly talented freshmen faggot
>develops paranoia each game might be his last, develops crazier still work ethic, knowing each game might be his last
>through sheer hard work and effort, outcompetes the young faggot for the starter position
>NFL combine
>terrible vertical jump, speed, mobility, physique, below-average to average arm and spirals
>no one saw anything note-worthy or special
>2000 NFL draft
>6th round, 199th pick (i.e. no one wanted him)
>team that chose him was the joke of the AFC, 0 superbowls and only 2 conference championships
>walked up to team owner and said
>”I’m the best decision this organization has ever made”
>”ok sure 199th pick buddy”
>is 4th in the QB depth chart, again works his ass off to be backup QB after a year
>starter gets injured
>”ok I guess we have to play him”
>”this is my chance”
What's your excuse, user?
>still always paranoid each game might be his last, work ethic is at this point inhuman
>never looked back, or gave the starter QB his job back
>first season as a starter, takes a previously 5-11 team to be Superbowl champions, in one of the biggest upsets in superbowl history
>first 4 years, they win 3 superbowls lmao
>perceived career rival was a 4 year starter in college, instant starter in in NFL, 1st pick of the 1st round in his draft class (i.e. crazy talented)
>battle of wills, but he simply wanted it more than his rival, with his psychotic competitiveness and hard work
>slowly become the best QB of his generation
>shatter individual and collective records
>by FAR the most accomplished and winningest player in history
>literally unrivaled in the biggest moments, the most clutch player in all of sports history
>17 years after his first starter season, 6 super bowls, 9 conference championships (both more than any other team in history), holds every playoff and superbowl individual and collective records. On track to hold every overall individual record by the time of his retirement.
>of btw this is a salary cap league, not like european footballl where it is a who has the most money contest
>universally regarded as the GOAT, by a huge margin too
>the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be
This man’s story should serve to inspire you user. From literal garbage to the the best there ever will be. If you look throughout history, in all endeavours: science, literature, art, sport, business, economics etc., the standout individuals all shared unfaltering determination and belief in themselves, coupled with the will and discipline to work harder than ANYONE in pursuit of perfecting their craft. It’s simply the only way to succeed user. You can do it too. In light of what this man has done, what is your excuse, user?
STOOOPPPP I DONT NEED MORE SELF HATRED
It's not worth becoming the type of person who's afraid of tomatoes, dances like a homo, wears uggs, and kisses his son on the lips.
>using > and "quotes"
Did you read his biography or something? What a fucking loser.
I believe in you user

Nice story, but Tom Brady is no better than the Quarterbacks who did not do those things. In fact, the 3rd strong quarterback in Oakland should probably get paid more than Tom Brady because of the inherent advantages Tom Brady has had in his life. Plus, Tom Brady has already won enough and been paid enough money. He should be willing to give money to other quarterbacks who don’t have it as good as he does.
He's average at best. Belichick is 99% of the Patriot's success.
He's the 18th highest paid starter QB in the league, so bottom 50%. He already accepts a wage much lower than his market value to help the team around him.
Belichick without Brady has a losing record. Yeah Bill deserves a lot of credit too. But stuff like superbowl 36, 49, 51, you can't coach that. It's simply transcendent greatness.
