No, he wasn't injury prone in college.

How are we gonna hire a good GM after O’Brien just traded away our 2019 and 2020 first round picks?!

Im a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team and I hope they do well during this upcoming National Football League (NFL) season.

So dark they're never getting out of the barn.

Same

>tfw tons of UDFA talent flashing all preseason on both sides of the ball
>cut literally all of them
Why they gotta show us cool shit then take it away?

sweet as then

Because they sucked in camp. Preseason is worthless from an evaluation standpoint.

>draft Treadwell in the first round
>waive him
>draft a kicker I'm the fifth
>he shits the bed, waive him
>he goes on to ball in Oakland
>sign Dan Bailey, the second most accurate kicker
>after a single career low season with the vikes he is now sixth most accurate
>give up a fifth to the Ravens for a kicker
>waive him before the season starts
>cut Kai forbath who made literally the biggest kick in franchise history
>cut Sloter
>either implying Kirk will be signed again or another decade of qb hell (no difference)
>Rick Spielman, my gm of the Minnesota Vikings, also puts his shoes on before his pants in the morning
The absolute state of my franchise

I'm afraid I'm going to have to dislike both of you, unfortunately. I support a billionaire club that is not on good terms with the Eagles™ organization due to their position in the league. I'm going to have to spend time repeatedly pointing out faults in both your character and the personnel on your football team in hopes that my own team's reputation looks better by comparison. Rather unfortunate, but that's just the way it is.

>NE: N'Keal Harry a candidate for injured reserve?

It's another Patriots put their entire draft class on IR/PUP (Two players already there; Harris might be soon) and sign random players for a couple weeks at a time to fill those spots but still get to/win the SB anyway episode.

shut the fuck up vicuck

at this point I've become used to it. Like were only seeing the 2018 class come into the game now cause almost all of them were injured at some point
As long as Winovich plays a lot this year I'll be happy

Yea I know objectively it's just boring having essentially the same roster as last year, all that happened was some dead weight from the bottom of the depth chart got replaced and most of the few draft picks got added.

If repeating digits Seahawks confirmed for SB win this year

Fucking why, there are already seven (7) wide receivers and that group is about as good as it's going to get at this point already.

Last two digits are how many of those he throws to the other team

Maybe half that.

Last digit is number playoff games he loses before finally winning one

Last digit is the number of games Dak wins without Zeke

He won one last season, troglodyte.

Last two digits is how many points the Cowboys score in their opening game.

Yes, but now he's gonna lose 6 more hahaha

I believe this one

They actually have talent on their defense.

...fuck

Oh no, he's retarded

LAST DIGIT IS NUMBER OF DAK PICKS IN WEEK

he was the rams before the cardinals, so maybe he's familiar with zac taylor's offense? or perhaps for special teams? replacing malone? i dunno

Last two digits is the number of rings Brady will end his career with

Great, now you have to pay Cooper and Dak top dollar too

OH no, you bit harder then a virgin pornstar?

Last digit is number of Carr TDs in week 1
second to last digit is Peterman's in the owl

That would be a fair grab to make if the Oline or especially the defense didn't still need significant work. They should be trolling for defensive talent, the skill players are already capable if they're given the opportunity to do anything.

Dak has crazy bad advanced stats. He was 25th in DYAR last year, 26th in DVOA, and 19th in QBR. Andy Dalton, Mitchell Trubisky, Jameis Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Kirk Cousins. Were better in all three. Eli Manning and Joe Flacco were better in DYAR and DVOA.

yeah they have a fuck ton of defensive linemen and like no offensive linemen and no linebackers and those were the two weakest position groups to begin with

>The Seahawks signed Jachai Polite to their practice squad

Inb4 they turn him into a Pro-Bowler.

He'll be on the active roster by Halloween and end the season with 6 or 7 sacks and a defensive touchdown

This. Dak was 29th in SFMA and 23rd in MUB. Even if we go by where he did better, he's just 12th in RS/A and 14th in RSFO. He's a joke.

They shipped away Clowney for nothing and then traded away the house for Tunsil. They could have kept Clowney on a tag and have had both him and Tunsil if they wanted to win now and have dealt with deciding whether to give Clowney a new contract next year. Instead, they've crippled their run defense, made it so opposing teams can get away with simpler pass block schemes, are still paying half of Clowney's salary, don't have a long term lock on Tunsil (only have him for two years), and have given up a fuck ton of draft capital.
It's like BoB either spent the entire weekend doing handle pulls or he just fucking hates Clowney for some reason and his hateboner of wanting Clowney gone led to severely irrational trades. I see no other explanation for this.

They're getting him to replace Mike White

He couldn't beat out Geno Smith for a backup job

why is cowherd saying both the texans and seahawks won the trade? is he friends with bill or something?

Geno couldn't beat out Geno either, they cut him as well

Because the Texans now don't have to worry about completely wasting their first round picks for the next two years like they would have done

Clowney wasn't signing the fucking tag you retard. It was either cut him loose and get a compensatory third round pick, or trade him for the best deal they could get for him. And they not only got him to a team he wanted to play for, they got players AND an earlier third round pick for the lazy bum.

Colin exists to make hot takes, and defending the Toxins right now is about the hottest take there is

they got two players that were on the roster bubble and a 4th

You can't even think for yourself. Why would I give that link a click based on specious information from a retard?

Better than what they would have gotten cutting him. Which is the point.

What do you have to lose?

Clowney is shit. Never had double digit sacks.

Brain cells, that you no longer have.

>Clowney wasn't signing
Then you either wait him out, renegotiate, or trade him for actual value. Not sit on your hands and accept a shit sandwich in exchange for a high value player.

You're the retard who can't admit the Clowney trade was a disaster for the Texans.

Attached: totally a bear.jpg (720x960, 117K)

So sick of cowspic fans on Twitter and leddit. Every other post by them is about how they are winning the super bowl. Is there a more delusional fan base in all of sports?

When is the last time they won anything? It's annoying to be in the presence of these delusional idiots.

They've been doing this since 1996.

You have to learn to ignore it. And also rub their faces in it when the Cowboys don't win the Super Bowl.

the tunsil-stills trade makes it look worse by association though
It wouldn't have been nearly as bad if they managed to trade Clowney for Tunsil but him not signing his tag nixed that and forced them to do all this shit

Clowneys agent has been in negotiation all off-season. He wants WAY more than he's worth to the Texans. Which would ultimately lead to a Leveon Belk situation of him wanting to get paid, forced to sit out a year, or they cut bait with the dead weight on the pocket books.

Browns legitimately have a way better chance. Yet Browns fans know better than to say shit.

>him not signing his tag nixed that and forced them to do all this shit

Which was a direct result of the Texans completely misplaying the Clowney situation.

reroll since nobody has had dubs yet

>have third most cap space in the league
>Luck is gone so division is wide open
>don't sign Clowney to a new contract
>trade away a ridiculous amount of draft capital for Tunsil instead of something more reasonable like a 1st and a either 4th or a roster bubble player
Someone needs to take BoB out back and put two in his head.

of course
perhaps having your coach be your GM when he has no experience doing that was a bad idea

Then you agree with the trade.

Attached: 1499073461782.png (399x382, 89K)

The Texans have the third largest amount of cap space right now. They could have taken on Clowney with a front loaded contract and have worked in options clauses that coincided with Watson's rookie contract ending.

No, the trade was retarded. The Texans got nothing for Clowney. It would've been better to force him to hold out and eventually sign the tag and let him walk after the year is over. That's literally a better outcome than what happened.

If they hadn't made it obvious that they intended to trade a player they didn't have under contract, they wouldn't have given that player all the leverage in trade talks. If they just gave Clowney a contract, they could've still decided to trade him anyway. Any option was better for the Texans than what they ended up doing. They had to give up draft picks because they couldn't trade Clowney to the Dolphins.

GOT OWL

DON'T CARE

Why reward bad behavior?

Because business is business. Leave your emotions at the door when money is involved unless you want to get your ass fleeced.

So you're only criticism is they couldn't force clowney to indentured servitude with the franchise tag. Got it.

Skip is based and redpilled. It's almost performative art with him at this point. Cowherd is just an idiot

If the lions win with Safford, he needs to reenact the famous YA Tittle pic

Right. Which is why they made a business decision to ship him off for as much as they could while doing right by the player.

You have very poor reading comprehension

No. They could have. And they should have.

They didn't and because they didn't, they had to give up draft picks to the Dolphins.

Whether or not the franchise tag should exist is a different discussion entirely. I'm hoping the NFLPA is able to get rid of it in CBA negotiations this year.

CLOWNEY. IS. NOT. GOOD.

The one with cracked ribs, bleeding from his skull, kneeling in the rain?

Eh, skip doesn’t actually believe any of the shit he says.

>ship him off for as much as they could

Yeah, the Texans did the opposite of that. They shipped him off to a team he hand picked and got nothing in return.

I'm not even a lions fan but you're welcome

calm down incel

The tunsil trade from Miami's standpoint makes no sense to me, granted there is draft picks but the dude is a confirmed all pro Calibur rt when your offensive line is already one of if not the worse section of your team. You know you are just gonna spend the picks you got on ols anyway.

Who else was offering more?

His actual talent level doesn't matter as much as his perceived talent level on the trade market.

The fact remains that the Texans would've been better served letting him hold out until he eventually signed the tag and then letting him leave in free agency at the end of the year. They got no value for him when they should've been able to get at least one quality player for him. The way they handled the situation gave him veto power over being traded to the Dolphins. The Texans fucked this situation up and there's no other valid way to look at it.

Yes, he has taken so much punishment over his career, including multiple 7+ sack games against the vikes. Pretty sure he bruised his ribs at least and could barely talk during his post-game interviews. I think he's fractured his back as well.

my dude, if someone offers you two first round picks and a second round pick when you're in the middle of a rebuild for ONE player, you take that.

If it prevents another edition of patswinlol, I'll take it.

Yikes

retard

tfw bucme had sex before me

The Texans never gave themselves an opportunity to find out because they made it obvious that they intended to trade a player who wasn't signed with the team. Which isn't allowed. So Clowney would need to sign before they could trade him to anyone. Giving him all the leverage.

>One in the hand over two in the bush
All I'm saying is the player is 25 he practically a draft pick in age. It's not like he's 29 and not on a rookie contract

Clowney never had double digit sacks and is a major injury risk. Hes a joke and is a dishonest player.

He's better than the third round pick Seattle paid for him. Hell they could end up getting a comp pick if they don't resign him

Cowherd is incredibly entertaining. Even if his takes are complete shit (and they usually are), there's just something about his style that makes me keep coming back.

Explain why he isn't good.

that's true, but how long do you think it's going to take the Dolphins to be even competitive again? by that point Tunsil will be older and cost a lot more. you have to realize that while he is a good starting point for a rebuild, they have so many question marks on that roster even with him.

>muh sacks
Going by that logic Steve Smith Sr. was horrible since he only had one season with double digit tds

This. Toxins confirmed retards.
Lmfao this gotta be a troll.
Better than the two guys that Pete Carroll was gonna cut. Clowney didn't live up to his draft position, true, however, he was a solid NFL end which has value in and of itself. Also he'll do better in a 4-3 scheme he was never a fit at 3-4 olb.

Clowney is one of the best run defenders in the entire NFL. You don't have to have Von Miller or Khalil Mack tier sack stats to be a good player, are you a child?

He's not even good at pressuring the quarterback. All he's good at is run defense. Not worth the contract he was asking for.

I just find him obnoxious. It feels like he thinks of himself as really intelligent

>cutting your 2019 3rd round pick

Only the fucking Jets. What a joke of a team and city

Because he sucks.

Or the raiders taking an RB with a Khalil Mack pick

polite is a fucking retard who is going to sperg himself out of the league

>>>Old Gay

Not that guy but the thing about rebuilds is that you want to rebuild your OL first so that when you tank for your number 1 overall QB he doesn't get Alex Smeth'd or Andrew Luck'd into a shoulder surgery while he's on his rookie deal.

What did he even do or say?

You dont pay 15 mil or more a season to a guy who can't get double digit sacks. This is why your teams are a fucking joke.

his draft stock dropped like a rock after his interview with green bay where they asked him actual questions and didnt coddle him like he expected
ever since then hes been labelled as being a cunt and looks to be truen

And when you dont pay money to your good run stoppers and line wreckers, don't act surprised when your double digit sack guy all of a sudden is no longer getting double digit sacks and finds himself getting effectively double and triple teamed at the line of scrimmage in addition to your team getting killed in the run.

Gruden is gonna unleash the Ultra West Coast meme offense with 2 QBs on the field running fakes into waggle and posts. The Philly Special every play basically but with a second QB so he can throw a meme dragon if you try to cover the receiving QB in the flat.

Says you. Did JaMarcus Russell have to get cut by the Raiders before we knew he was a bust?

Sounds like a decent depth addition, which is what the loins need based on preseason. Johnson/Anderson/Johnson is looking like a pretty decent rb group tho

You'd rather have Carr than Wentz?

carr is better than wentz because he doesn't get injured every season.

It's a one year rental for Seattle. They'll release him and get a third round supplemental pick back.

Doesn't he?

What about that guard from Stanford you idiots drafted? Or Joe Williams? 9ers are the worst drafting team in the league by far.

Thomas in the LEO is better than Clowney. Put him in his natural position and he's a top ten DT.

The post specified most recent.

It would be Foster or Thomas. Mike McGlinchey is a starter and Nick Bosa is still a rookie so neither of them are busts.

He is good depth and is a pretty good blocker when asked. Just don't expect him to be an RB1

Mike McGlinchey went to Notre Dame fucktard. I was talking about Josh Garnett.

Attached: ocasio-cortez.jpg (678x381, 35K)

I wouldn't be surprised. He'll become like Suh. A mercenary who can fill that role on needy teams.

Why even waste anybody's time? Just give us the Lombardi already.

Attached: Chefs.jpg (1280x720, 189K)

I know, you fucking idiot.

Josh Garnett was taken before Foster and Thomas. He would not be a more recent draft bust. The only players who could possibly be more recent draft busts are McGlinchey and Bosa. You fucking retard.

>Clayton Thorson signs with Cowboys
I think we just fucked up Eaglebros....

To be fair those are pretty minor compared to Wentz, not that I would want to suffer any of them, let alone all.

>1st ranked offense

Lombardi is not yours.

Wow, last year was the only year Carr didn't get injured?

See if Gordon and DT (I know) can survive and if not you get Harry for the second half.
If they do the Pats just get that much better.

He looked horrible in preseason. They're data mining his brain.

Wait we let Thorson go? I thought we were getting rid of the other one, whatshisname, K something.

They cut Kessler too

How much does this actually work in the NFL?

they signed Kyle Lauletta to the practice squad instead of Thorson. reinforces the idea that he was a panic pick after Easton Stick went the pick before.

Got in an ATV accident and never played a single down of football, didn't even go to camp or OTAs. Released last year

It's pretty established that draft busts are counted by their draft class year and not when they eventually busted.

>Chargers’ GM Tom Telesco said on a conference call today that any contact extension talks with holdout RB Melvin Gordon will be postponed until after the season.

Oh my.

Jared Goof lmao

Didn't they just cut him?

They kept Wentz, McCown, and Sudfeld. I'll never understand why the hell they drafted a QB in the 5th round to begin with, but the second that they brought in McCown Thorson was finished.

I mean, runningbacks have no value in the league anymore. There's no point in meeting their demands when you can pick up a starting runningback at basically any point during the season.

Good.
Oh, right, so they did. Okay then.

Elaborate

I was discussing the amount they busted by, not their year.

Hence why I said comparatively. Bad nonetheless.

Idk. Good question.

They did, that user is just a fucking retard.

Then why did you bring up Joe Williams? He was a 4th round pick and not even really in the bust conversation by virtue of being a 4th round pick.

Solomon Thomas is arguably a bigger bust than Garnett even though the team hasn't given up on him yet. Thomas was the 3rd overall pick and Garnett was only the 28th pick in the draft.

Stick was the guy who succeeded Wentz at QB at North Dakota State. I think it's pretty likely that they were targeting him with this pick in the 5th as a high upside backup, but the Chargers just got in before them. So they panicked and took the next QB on their board, who happened to be Thorson. Stick actually made the Chargers 53 man btw.

In all seriousness, where do the Giants land this year? They were fucking FIRE in the preseason. 4-0, preseason champs. Defeated the PATRIOTS. They're making the playoffs this year, right?

Joe Williams never even played a single down for your clown team. If thats not a huge bust, especially for a running back, what is? Fuck outta here

Yeah they're going to win an owl. Go break vegas.

Jones will start the first game of October and lead the team to a respectable 8-8

He was a 4th round pick.

He's right

they don't, they're completely replaceable and on top of that the running game is becoming increasingly more inefficient

RIP my madden kick returner Johnny Kox

>Chargers won't give Gordon a new contract
Where is Melvin Gordon signing next year

This Thomas isn't a "bust" but he is probably more of a 30-45 pick talent than a #4 overall talent but that's okay I get why Lynch drafted him. It was a character pick for the rebuild, it was his first ever pick and he was super comfortable with the kid he had even attended classes with him at Stanford. We missed on much better DBs tho in that draft.
Garnett is a pure bust but so is Foster. Garnett was a Baalke pick tho and that dude busted left right and center
He was ass bro. He was only an elite run blocker in college he wasn't strong enough to do it in the NFL and he spent more time rehabbing than strength training.
Good luck with Greg Roman faggot.

No, if I was the Texans GM, I'd be in favor of paying runningbacks.
Nothing is expected of 4th round picks so it's a bit misguided to call it a bust when they don't work out.

You should be getting starters out of the first 3 rounds. Everything after that is a gamble and they don't always work out. The 49ers drafted George Kittle after Joe Williams. Late round picks can be anything.

Oh so you're a real fan?
Tell me one interesting fact about your team, stadium, or star player that I wouldn't know.

Who gives a flying fuck how they spread it? The Patriots pay more for the RB corps than almost any other team in 2019. They were top 10 in RB spending in 2018. What does it matter if one individual player gets a lot of money or not? I'm willing to bet if I look that up, you're wrong there too.

I will never not be mad about this. "Oh hey, I'm just going to go four wheeling in the back country after signing my contract." Just so stupid.

The 2017 Draft was kind of a wash anyway. Naz Jones has done ok, but Griffin, Pocic, and Darboh never really developed.

Good Teams(Playoff Teams) are ahead in games, hence they run the ball more to kill clock while the inverse is true for bad teams.

causation is not the same as correlation !

2002 I believe. Last time the Browns won the division was back when the AFC Central was still a thing

>because they're always ahead in games so they are often in situations where they need to kill clock
But that's false in 2018. Most of their games were extremely close. There were very few where they were comfortably ahead enough to just focus on killing clock.

Look around the league. How many sub 290 LB DTs are there?
Sub 240 lb LBs?
The Pats are just going to run over everyone this year because nobody is built to stop them.

>NFC South teams all go 9-7 and sneak into the WC
WOW ITS THE DIVISION FROM HELL, WHAT A TOUGH BUNCH

>AFC South does the same thing
WOW WHAT SHIT TEAMS

what does that have to do with anything? If anything it proves a good running back means something because his 1 fantastic year the cowboys were 12-4

Thanks lad

Yeah I always assumed there was some drug or alcohol involved with that crash.
Pocic isn't good enough to start but he's easily the best backup guard in the league and he can play both sides
Darboh got cut and Griffin hasn't been allowed to do anything since he freelanced in the first game of that season. Thank God for Chris Carson

Brian Flores isn't tanking. He probably wants to win.

The Dolphins are tanking though. Honestly, the Dolphins should've hired a place holder like Jeff Fisher for a year and then went after Flores next year. Flores might ruin the tank by trying to win.

>good teams don't run the ball until they need to kill clock
I don't strongly agree with either of you, but this is a garbage tier argument.

Nice strawman lmfao embarrassing.

Are people finally realizing Aaron Rodgers is overrated?

he would be their 4th or 5th wr right now anyways, this is basically just stashing him for when gordon is suspended

The difference is, the Saints and Buccaneers have won Super Bowl and the Falcons and Panthers have been in the Super Bowl within the past 5 years.

RUN HEAVY

Because giving all your money to one guy means you're fucked in the ass when he's hurt and RBs are most frequently injured, therefore it is better strategy to spend a lot spread between 2-3 solid RBs who can serve multiple roles on the team from blocking to running to receiving. Versatile backfields are more essential than ever because of cap and roster restrictions.

Yes

Then that is ross being an idiot which he is. Thats why I think we are going to shit the bed with this rebuild

Aaron Rodgers is still the Greatest Gay Quarterback Of All Time.

They definitely run more when they're ahead in the game and run less when they're down.

Yeah I'm sure Bellichick will take the ball out of the hands of the greatest qb of all time

Do you have data to back this up? They went 11-5, I would be stunned if they weren't ahead in games more often than 2/3s of the league.

Is Brady still playing?

when do you think you pass the ball more, when you're comfortably leading a game or when you're down by a couple of scores trying to get back in it?

twitter.com/espn/status/1168204133914095617

BASED PEYPEY

What kind of numbers would Barkley put up behind the Rams O-line?

well the Rams actually have people other than him to give the ball to, so probably more efficient numbers but lower counting stats.

Based and Schottypilled

Attached: schottenheimer.jpg (780x750, 72K)

the stats match the eyeball test which tells me that he's a bottom 10 QB

I don't really think you're taking into account the affect a good run game has on the passing game.
If a defense has to account for a good RB, that opens up yards in the air, but that doesn't add any stats to the running game.
Or if a defense knows they don't have to worry about a sub par running attack, they're more inclined to keep people back in coverage.

THERE'S A GLEAM FELLAS

yeah, he likes getting hit by big sweaty black men

Smh vikings

The Patriots have the 16th, 19th, and 30th, and 33rd highest paid RBs in the league. Those are not low placings. While they don't spend exorbitant amounts like the top 5 guys are paid, Burkhead, White, and Michel make a lot of money. People act like the Patriots pay them pennies, but they're paid 4 times the average.

You can say that's not "over"paying, but very few teams overpay RBs anyways. There are only 3 in the 10M+ category.

The Packers had to start paying fans that show up to shovel snow on game days cash, because too many people were saving the checks and framing them and it was causing a problem in the books.

the seahawks went one-and-done in the playoffs because they rushed the ball 21 times for 69 yards (3.2 ypa), despite Wilson being incredibly efficient when he passed that game (8.63 ypa). i don't think their offensive strategy is a good example of rush heavy teams being successful.

Im sure he's crying about something

>Do you have data to back this up?
Yes? Just look at the scores during regular season games? Almost none of them had the Patriots have 10 point or bigger leads where they could comfortably resort to a run game just to kill clock. Just check the scores per quarter summaries and you'll see it's true.

You guys are overstating the impact of this. Even if we eliminated all attempts when a team was down by, say, 10-14 points late in the game, those rankings barely shift at all.

>No, if I was the Texans GM, I'd be in favor of paying runningbacks

Lol basically the pats are doing exactly like I said, spending lavishly on the position while overpaying no one. They just pay them within the second half of top 32 money meaning that they're paying for three starting NFL RBs but not the top 3 starting NFL RBs.

I remember Seahawks fans telling me last offseason that Brian Schottenheimer was going to turn the Seahawks offense around.

If he sees a weakness he can exploit he will exploit it. If he is up against a smurf defense it will be the running game.

No. Because it would probably take an hour to sort through that data and I'm not going to do it just to find the exact same result. I watched enough of the season to know which teams were run and pass heavy in the AFC and how much of that was during garbage time/teams trying desperately to get back in the game.

It's a non-point. Pass heavy teams were just less successful last year. The Steelers didn't throw much more or less in games they were losing than games they dominated. They were just pass heavy, period.

If you're so convinced it makes a massive difference, do it yourself.

knowing Favre I'm sure he'll be back on the field by Thursday

>propose something that would prove your point
>refuse to actually do it
hmm, good one. but no, i'm not doing your work for you.

That's a pointless distinction because you could say that about half of the RBs in the top 30-40 paid. That's just the league shifting and adapting RB roles, not some kind of indication that they aren't RBs or something.

your best player has the knees of a 90 year old

The last time B. Schott looked good was when Favre was the Jets QB. Is he at least better than Darrell Bevell?

>you now remember johnny manziel

That's not what happened you massive retard. I posted stats proving my point. You posted saying "Nuh uh, it's only like that because _______". You are the one claiming it isn't valid, so prove it with data or fuck off. I'm not going to do your work for you.

Nope. Kind of a lateral move but at least Bevell can say he won a Super Bowl.

it's crazy because their passing offense was actually extremely efficient last year. 2nd in the league in TD% (Chiefs first), third in passing rating (Chiefs, Saints ahead), 6th in YPA and INT%, and they just never passed the ball. last in the league in pass attempts, and the only team with more rushing attempts than passing attempts. mindblowing how a coach could have a top 5 QB and just continually take the ball out of his hands.

burkhead plays a lot, he's been their most complete back

he did though.

lmao the fact that rbs have to get more versatile now or they get cut is pretty much the point

James White has over twice as many receiving yards than rushing yards. Brandon Bolden has 28 touches the las three years.

They're not being used as traditional running backs.

Rank your top 10 QBs in the league right now

Attached: 8B53598B-6E8B-43F0-8F9A-0AFC6B34B0E8.jpg (576x1024, 70K)

I remember an article I read about him busting out and that when he met with a GM he ordered a rum and coke and the GM saw it as a red flag. And at the time I was like hmmm sure, its a pleb cocktail, but we aren't judging QBs for their culinary aptitude are we? But now I think this was an allusion to his cocaine habit.

>delvin

Who?

Seahawks fan here. In some cases, he is. Bevell tried to be way too cute sometimes and it failed more than it succeeded. In in other cases, he's worse. The Cowboys playoff game is a perfect example of this. He will stick to ground chuck even if it's failing, and he seemingly never adjusts. Wilson could have won that game if they opened up the passing game. Schotty's biggest weakness is he never really adjusts well.

Considering the WR corp is full of rookies and less experienced players, I think we will see more of the same this year. A heavy use of the running game and Wilson throwing deep bombs. I'm honestly amazed he threw 35 TDs last season on 3400 yards.

hes a good player, but his value comes from his versatility to do everything.

Doesn't really strengthen the point of run truthers.

Fuck Darrell "2 screens and then an inside run" Bevell

The thing is they had to run so much because pass pro was so poor.

The Patriots 260lb FB. He will look like Tom Rathman in Tecmobowl going against the tiny Ravens ILBs.

Amazing

>He doesn't know one of the last remaining true FBs in the league
Are you actually retarded? James Develin is one of the last remaining true fullbacks, and is one of the reasons, besides Gronk having one of the best years of his careers as a blocker, that the Patriots had such a good run game last season.

And they(Patriots) have been hyping Michel up as a potential premier pass catcher and running back this season.

desu, I think the bigger issue with the Hawks pre-Schotty was because of Tom Cable. Cable was not just the O-line coach, he was the Assistant Coach as well. He had a tremendous amount of sway when it came to personnel. Solari took his terrible O-line and rebuilt it. Last year there were struggles, but the line is legitimately looking good this year. In two years, Solari has turned Ifedi into a league average tackle.

So even though I'm not a big fan of Schottenheimer and his stubborn approach to the run game, I do think the offense will be more fluid this year compared to Bevell/Cable due to Solari's influence.

>Greg Ward makes the practice squad
very nice

Attached: thumbs up.jpg (512x512, 56K)

And why not?

Part of the reason the Patriots have been so successful is the gay "chameleon" tag. It's gay, but it's 100% true. Belichick has moved towards hybridizing most of his team so they can act as "dual threats" of sorts. It makes it a lot harder for opposing teams to defend them when they can't write off a player as having one role on a play.

It's the same way on defense. Patriots don't employ traditional defenses as often and they shift before the snap on defense more than any team in the league. Their defenders stay loose so QBs can't gain much of an advantage from pre-snap reads.

I honestly think it's a big part of the reason the Patriots have been successful in more recent years. They've adapted multiple positions as hybrids where the rest of the league hasn't yet.

Yeah, no.

who else has that? Brady, Roethlisberger (out of the list after this incoming steaming dump of a Steelers season), and Prescott (who has Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup while Mariota has 60 year old Delanie Walker and a bunch of nobody wideouts)

Mariota is a good quarterback who wins games he's not supposed to win, a great leader for his team to rally around, and a wholesome Hawaiian boi who loves his momma. We're never getting rid of him, he has the heart of a champion. get fucked.

He's cheaper and younger, but the way they did it gives Tunsil alot of power in future contract negotiations.

yeah I just wanted to tie them together for a meme. Kalil is the surprise, I thought they’d want him as backup.

>you not remember tom brady

With a top 5 pick in the Draft?

Yes.

>plays 8 out of 16 games in your path

He'll get rid of himself when he does more flips and shit in the preseason with his injury history looking over his shoulder

5D chess, just wait.

>le injury meme
what'd he miss, three games last season? what a nothingburger

Like anyone will remember the 199th pick in the draft.

If you guys don’t take advantage of Luck retiring and our coach trading away all our draft pics, I will be really disappointed.

He missed those games with an injury that could have been career-ending if he kept trying to play through

Maybe. But I don’t think the price we paid to do so will be worth it.

With what QB? Memiota or Tanneshit?

>Bill O’Brien is playing 5D Chess
Lmao. I fucking wish.

Vikes will win it all

He missed the most important game of his career against he Colts in the final week.

With our luck it would be someone like Hoyer or Osweiler

or they don't

>Imagine being a fan of any AFC South team
Should Euthanasia be legal bros?

Yes

What is with all of this AFC South talk lately? I feel like Gooddell is planting shills here to make us hate the AFC South for some reason after Andrew Luck left it, but I can't quite pinpoint why (((they))) would want to push this.

Imagine thinking the Vikings have chance with a QB that can’t beat good teams.

>you know remember andrew luck

or a defense that can either lol

It's the only division where genuinely noteworthy things are happening in the past two weeks.

AFCE autists trying to take the heat off their teams

Patriots literally have the easiest fucking schedule I've ever seen. The NFL is a joke.

>84 million dollars

You're a fucking joke, fuck you you fucking low level cocksucking faggot ass bitchhole.

fucking kys brady cocksucker
he's gonna retire in the next 2 years and you are gonna be seething because your team will immediately become irrelevant again

The Lions play 3 teams that made the play offs in the first 4 weeks. Chargers, Eagles, Chiefs.

>You now remember dan marino

Yeah because the league is rigged

How is that luck?

At least Aaron Rodgers lucked into a ring on a year Brady was battling back from his ACL. Dipsy-do Dan never could into a ring.

They also play the Tards week 1, I wonder of Kyler Murray is going to shit on them in his debut like Sam Darnold did week 1 last season.

Brady was the unanimous mvp the year Rodgers won his ring

Goodell just wants them to overcome adversity

Fuck you, eat my piss you diglet motherfucker dumb under the ground tiny penis "WAWAWA" shithead faggot

Shows how truly down the league was that year, tbqh. 2010 Brady sucked, look at the team that knocked the Pats out of the playoffs.

Your mom won my heart that year, bitch

/rug/ here, what are Wade's chances? I follow the NFL because I played for a couple of years and was rooting for him, are the Bills likely to keep him on or will he have to hope another team nabs him? He seems to have done well so far, if not enough to climb to the upper half of the depth chart

>Gaytriots

brady sucks in general, he just gets insanely lucky and just throws screens, plus he and his team is full of cheaters

he's the most overrated football player in history

>no neck roll
That's just a tight end.

HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH IMAGINE YOUR TEAM *ACTUALLY* HAVING A GAY PLAYER. GAYTRIOTS BTFO

Nice Bruce Allen pic. He's a piece of shit, I think this is his last year

I'd rather be lucky than good.

This. Brady was trash his whole career and he's just lucky as hell and throws these little baby shit passes that my mom could throw or anyone could throw. Any team in the NFL could win doing what the Patriots do but they're just too masculine to resort to such a pathetic, pussy way of winning games. Fuck the cheatriots.

Find me a more based practice squad than this, I dare you.

>he just gets insanely lucky

Attached: player.jpg (600x365, 27K)

>you not remember cam newton

Real men support a masculine team like the Green Bay Packers. A real QB fucks his teammates AND coach in the ass.

Nice meme.

>Sources: #Vikings plan to sign veteran punter Britton Colquitt, per @GoesslingStrib and me.
>The 34-year-old is en route to Eagan. Source says Colquitt was headed to Buffalo before he was convinced to reunite with Gary Kubiak

Surely THIS time it will work

He is the most overrated in history yes, but that doesn't disqualify him from being a good player

>packers fan is also a closet homo
lmao

have you looked at it? It's ridiculous

More like Pary Gayer

new

>Green gay
heebie jeebies!

Blame the divisions they have to face for being shit not the schedule

I’m implying we have bad luck

Attached: A6E19670-3875-47F9-B330-46F40FA03593.jpg (275x226, 32K)

worst practice squad ive ever seen desu

Christian Wade's on the practice squad as an 11th member, so he's still part of the Bills but won't play until next year.

There’s literally nothing wrong with anal sex with men.

you know that the schedule is automatically generated right?

You really believe that you mark?

Trips confirm canned ham a bust.
