Zay Jones is worth a stash. So is John Brown, Cole Beasley, or Robert Foster. I imagine he didn’t cost you much, but Buffalo’s offense intrigues me this year. I want at least part of it, cheap, and see what happens as an experiment. I’d say Zay or John Brown has the highest upside, but don’t sleep on Beasley either.

I’m also drafting shares of Devin Singletary, and I’m taking last round fliers on Josh Allen in my 2 QB League.

Like Bills week 1 but honestly there's no reason to pick a D before the 10th/11th round in a 12 team. The best one probably will go undrafted

No reason to pick a D/ST or K before the last two rounds. Idiots will always grab the absolute best 5 rounds early so you're better to get depth at other positions and then deal with the middling crap all season. Best defense in a normal year (Bears were godly last year) is no more than 3-5 PPG better than some 15th ranked D/ST. If you lose your championship by 4 points against the guy who got the Bears D/ST in the 8th then you can give me shit.

Depends on how deep the league is. If it's 12 or less I agree with you, because there is still known value at the skill positions in the late rounds. If it's a particularly deep league, you can reach a bit on a good defense or kicker knowing that your dart throws are generally gonna be available down the line.

RB1 means that if every teams gets 1 RB for the first round all those RBs are RB1 with some being a high 1 and others a low 1. So in a 16 team league Mixon, Bell, and Connors are all RB1.

There are some dumbasses in my league, including a guy who picked the Pats DST in the 2nd round, so fleecing trades with nimrods is also an option.

Different strategies, I've definitely seen people overpay for Studs (literally use 90% of their budget on 3 guys) and fill out the rest of their roster with dart throws and fliers. It can only work if you're grinding the wire every day and not blowing your load on one guy unless you're certain he's gonna immediately help your team.

But a balanced approach can work imo you can get 3 really good wide receivers for a discount in an auction especially if they have injury/attitude issues

So did anyone else do RB zero as a draft strategy this season? I had the last pick in a 10 man. My thoughts were to get Stud WRs the first 3 picks then go from there. My whole thinking is that it will be easy to find a RB1 like conner or kamara with late picks or waivers . Really happy with my team because the RB landscape looks like a mess right now.

That's what I thought. #1 overall pick helps. Joe Mixon fell to me at end of 2nd/3rd round turn. I wasn't even that high on Aaron Jones this year, but he was still available with the last pick of the 4th round so I took him. Only needed WRs at that point and none were available that I liked so I snagged Rodgers at the top of the 7th round. If Dede can be a solid WR #2 with Nick Foles or I can somehow come across a solid #2 WR to start behind Evans, I'll be cruising.

Mixon was ranked in the mid to late 2nd round and Evans was ranked a few picks into the 3rd round. The first 15 picks went pretty chalk in my draft. Then picks 16 - 19 went OBJ (who i never would have drafted), Juju (Might have taken him if he fell to me), Amari Cooper (Never would have picked him either), and Dalvin Cook (another I would not have touched). Really the first 2 rounds weren't crazy. Amari Cooper being picked that early was the only really odd one to me and allowed Mixon to fall to me.

Not sure how Aaron Jones fell to the last pick of the 4th round for me. Again, not many reaches before I picked him. Melvin Gordon (don't ask me why he was drafted in 4th. The guy who picked him is pretty good at FF) and Pat Mahomes went a few pick before Jones, but that was probably in accordance with ESPN's ranks.

Edelman stacks up very well compared to the WRs gonig around him. I stay away from him because the Patriots passing game diminishes at the end of the last few seasons during the FF playffss, but his overall production is good for that range. Kelce was producing like a high end WR anyway, so it makes sense he would go in the same range as them.

Big Chiefs fan here but I feel like Hill is overrated from a fantasy standpoint. I had him last year he is SUPER boom or bust. I would much rather have Adams, OBJ, Juju or Hopkins on my fantasy team. I love him in real life but there are some games where he will go 200 2TD then others with 65 yards 0 TD. I don't trust him as a WR1.

Damien Williams is probably better than Ingram solely because the Chiefs will score signifcantly more and Ingram has lost a step since his dominant days. Yeah, Williams will get slightly his on his recieving TDs, but 6 to 5 is not significan enough for me to put Ingram ahead of him.

Good RBs for PPR, I like scantling and think you should consider starting him (if not this week, soon).

Otherwise kind of just a middele of the pack team, you're gonna need some luck and lots of waiver moves.

I guess I'm just worried about McCoy eating up Williams to start, and Thompson eating him up to finish, while Baltimore could have this epic rushing offense that Ingram could explode out of.
BUT Jackson will take some goalline TDs away, and Justice will eat into his between the 20s touches, too. So there's plenty of concern on both sides.

Well it depends who your running backs are also. Obviously your good at receiver but being PPR flexing Evans is not a bad thing.
