Are they even the biggest team in rome?

Also no

Sergio Conceicao won as many trophies in one year at Lazio as Totti in his whole career at Roma

Italian Tottenham

Rome is a shithole and if you think about it all roads lead AWAY from Rome.

>were
which period exactly?
we used to be decent in the 80's but got shittier since then. Were the second best team in italy for a while in recent times, but all becasue of calciopoli and the other teams in the league being really bad

deep

I used to think Roma was big in the the period like 2006-2010 when you and Inter were always fighting for the scudetto, was surprised to know Roma has just 3 leagues and no European trophies

>calciopoli and yet you cant win a title
lol

Their twitter is really funny, check it out y'all

>won serie a 3 times
>big club

sampdoria is bigger atleast they were in cl final

>being this much of a brainlet

Roma is Arselel tier

Roma mierda

Romafag here. Got some time to kill so I'll explain a few things.
Why would you think we're big? No italian team outside of Inter, Juventus and Milan is big. You can blame the northern powers, refball or the simple fact that they have the most customers spread out around Italy, but that's simply it. This not only counts for Roma (the only team that manages to at least challenge "the big three" with some consistency which still doesn't count as a trophy) but also for teams like Fiorentina, Lazio and so on.
The only times Roma managed to win in the post war were when its owners went all in and put together a team that was leaps and bounds above the oppositions. But that could only work for one year before Juventus came back full force. Same goes with Lazio. In 2000 their owner had to raise the price of milk all around italy and their fans had to literally threaten to invade FIGC HQ, which resulted in Juventus playing against Perugia inside a swimming pool in their last match of the season.
No other club has won the league since 1992.
Since 2010-11 we've been a joke thanks to this ownership only giving a fuck about making money through land speculation by using the stadium as an excuse. This is so obvious that, despite most strong powers in the city pushing for it (including 3 mayors of 3 different parties and 3 governments), they're still nowhere close to start building it. That's how bad from a legal point of view this shit is.
The club is ran by a guy from London whose only objective was forcing Totti and De Rossi out so nobody would bother him while he simply kept the team afloat by selling players every single year and acting like FFP is an actual thing. Doesn't help that every director after a while realises he can do whatever the fuck he wants since he's the only one in Rome and starts making money though commissions to friends.

AS Roma also was in the CL final. 1984, vs Liverpool.

But despite all that, Lazio is even worse of a joke. They're only a club because their owner, Lotito, was buddy with Berlusconi and managed to spread Lazio's debt throughout like 30 years.
Laziali are cringe larpers, almost MLS like: pic related is a flyer their now dead (executed in the middle of a park, allegedly due to a drug deal with Camorra gone bad) head of Ultras gave out, explaining how they're supposed to dress. They literally only care about Coppa Italia, being the only trophy they could achieve in the last 20 years (and yet they still have less than Roma) and about winning the two derbies (and yet they still mostly lose)
Their non ultras fans are plastic and nowhere to be seen unless they win the derby, to the point that they pretend not to care about football when things go bad for them. The percentage of Lazio fans increases when you go to the outskirts but not by much. They also have the added bonus of spending 11 years in Serie B and being part of every scandal in the history of italian football, while still winning pretty much nothing.

Calciopoli only meant that Inter took control of the refs. Roma was the only "top" (I use this term loosely) italian club not to be involved in it.

Roma lost the final on penalties against Liverpool in 84.

No. Arseanal have way more domestic trophies and some europeans.

You forgot how their "legends" all have the best of their career somewhere else. They spent 20 years hyping player up as better than Totti just to see them move to better pastures at the first chance like Nesta or become outright shitters like Zarate.

This, litteraly

>Overhyped
>Won barely 2 leagues
>Somewhat better results in the national cup
>Still last trophy was won ages ago
>More important and slighty victorius team in the same city with a bitter rivalry, althought in recent years is now considered the strongest of the two (Lazio/Arsenal)
>Will always end at best at second place, no matter how hard they try

>More important and slighty victorius team in the same city
Is this a joke post? The only thing Lazio won more than Roma is a cup that was so irrelevant it was abolished the same year and glorified friendlies.

This is so cringe. I love football but i'll never understand ultras, they take this shit way too seriously and build their whole identity around a fucking football club.

They entertain.
