To be fair, EVERYONE messed up a lot in 2010. But, yes, contrary to the popular narrative, Red Bull was not dominant that season and with the open Vettel/Webber rivalry and both of them being competitive, the title really should have gone to either Hamilton or Alonso in 2010, had it not been for their errors. The top 4 all finished within 16 points from one another and going into the last race, all still had chances (Vettel's were the slimmest). It was a pretty entertaining season.

I watched last season, I've watched both drivers careers. Grosjean wasn't ready in 2009 a shitter who deserved his race ban in 2012, had steady improvement in both on track performance and consistency from 2013 to 2015, did very well to help out HAAS in 2016-2017, drove like a retard in 2018 (I honestly thought they would drop him), and has been the class of the team (to the extent of being the smartest man in Ireland) in 2019 while being fucked over by reliability. Magnussen had a good debut, but quickly became unspectacular, sat out 2015, looked like shit in 2016, was outperformed by Grosjean in 2017, outperformed Grosjean by a country mile in 2018, and has been an embarrassment in 2019. For the entirety of his career he has made retarded decisions while defending, but pundits always chalk it down to "OH KMAG HE DOESN'T FOOKIN YIELD DOES HE? WHAT BIG BALLS." I'd honestly say that both drivers being dropped would make sense to me, but the time to drop Grosjean and keep Kmag was 2018. Going by this season (and if you count back you'd count back to 2017) you would either drop both, or drop Magnussen, because at least Grosjean is showing evidence that he is trying to develop as a driver, while Mag just does Grosjean 2012 shit every race and avoids flak because other drivers make up for his retarded racecraft. tl;dr If Haas didn't drop John after last year, they certainly should not drop him and keep Kmag based on this year.
