I’m actually a /hoc/ operative that is slowly changing every general into /hoc/. Next I’ll start removing news lines one by one.
Did Clowney sign with the Eagles yet?
it's shit as always. EA only cares about ultimate team.

Why would they?

The colts have a chance to turn this retirement into a blessing in disguise. Brissett isn’t the future but chad Kelly absolutely is. If Brissett is 0-2 once Kelly’s suspension is up and they don’t let him play, they’ll have made a huge mistake.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

You're one of the good ones roach.
Swag Kelly is anti-reddit. He’s toxic masculinity incarnate and reddit söyboys seethe and write articles that him being on a team while Kaep isn’t is white privilege and not woke like Donald Glover
You mean ol' "Walk it to 'em" Wentz?
Identity politics is Reddit trash. All that matters is if the guy can play football and Kelly is really bad.
Why is there always one American flag that blows turk cuck with some short comment about how awesome he is?
I wouldn't know. I'm just giving a nod to another birds fan. Sorry if I bothered you somehow.
You did. Never compliment turkcuck again. Cuckolds are not people to be praised.
Ignore the haters. Wentz is throwing 40TDs at least this year.
Shannon consistently praises and defends Wentz in the face of Skip's autism.
Is Roach a cuck? I thought that was Old Bay.
I know and I love how desperately Skeeup clings to Dak winning two games at Wentz with a fractured spine
Never forget that of Dak's 3 wins against Wentz. two of them were OT games where Wentz never got the ball
You guys want to see a weird dog?
It's both of them.
Nothing wrong with liking the Eagles, they're hot shit right now. But I will not allow praising of cuckolds in my house, the holiest of generals.
If Wentz was so great, they shouldn't have gone to OT
I already got pics of your mom.
I already got pics of your dad.
They went to OT because Wentz is great. The rest of the Cowboys roster was far superior in those games. The one time Wentz and Dak faced with even rosters, it was a 28 point blowout
Imagine not fucking filtering turkey
>being this mad
The eagles are constantly praised for having the most talent rich rosters in the league. Fuck off with your gay excuses, fag.
So I guess you don't want to see it?
>All that matters is if the guy can play football and Kelly is really bad.
This statement will age terribly by 2021.
Do I!?!
I don't need excuses. I have a ring this century. I'm hoping those wins propel Dak to a $35 million contract he doesn't deserve and cripples the franchise. What's sad is how easy it is to destroy the pro-Dak crowd and the Cowboys will still fall for it
When will the NFL address this problem? They need better rules to protect the quarterback better than they are currently doing.
That was kid of a weird excuse, but would anyone really rather have Dak than a healthy Wentz? If he wasn't injury prone it would be a no brainer.
Check it out.
>ywn have a walking dog
I would take Dak over a healthy Wentz if Dak would accept getting paid what he's worth. Elite QBs are too expensive, I'll take a game manager with an elite OL and defense.
>brutal NFL
that's a funny way to say Colts' management
Wentz's deal is an absolute bargain for what he provides when healthy
It was a good deal so long as he stays healthy.
Thing is, Cowherd did have a good point about this:
youtube.com
Starts at 5:30 goes to 8:00. Makes a very compelling case why increased QB protection/rules really is a good thing, and I agree with him.
But if he gets hurt, the team is fucked regardless of what they're paying him so it was smart to buy low on him
I thought it was an excited black kid briefly.
I heard the same thing when Andrew Luck got his deal.
Uh oh...

Wentz also has the mental and spiritual support of his lord and savior Jesus Christ. You could tell that Luck never had the mental makeup to overcome real adversity
Yeah, I know. Hopefully history won't repeat itself. The eagles protect him better than the colts ever did but he likes to hold the ball too long and scramble around to create plays.
Luck went to the playoffs 3 times in his first 3 years including an AFCC. With absolute shit for a team and HC. Wentz has never played in the post season.
how do i poop
Hey UT!
>Wentz has never played in the post season.
He got to the playoffs. In the games he started in 2017, the Eagles had already clinched the division. He just never got to play in them because of the torn ACL. Plus he plays in a much tougher division. Luck's team is the only team in the AFC South with an Owl. At the time Wentz was drafted, every team but the Eagles had at least 3 Owls.
Luck didn't have what it takes to endure the long term grind of this league. He told you as much himself. Wentz carries himself in a way that shows he's much more cut out for the tough times in this league
>Clowney stalling on being traded to the Dolphins because he wants to play for Philly or Seattle instead
When is the NFL going to step in and stop players from turning trade negotiations into free agency? It encourages ring-chasing and forming superteams like in the NBA. If Clowney goes to the Eagles he's trying to get a free ride to a Super Bowl and I don't respect that.
I just realized that Carson Wentz tortures potatos and laughs maniacally in his free time. He'll dress them up in sexy clothing like bikinis and then smash his dick onto the soft baked potatos until they burst everywhere. It's his way of declaring irish ginger dominance and giving his penis the ability to withstand third degree burns.
It makes sense when you think about it. The injuries he keeps getting are related to destroying potatoes in bikinis with his penis, and the team is hiding it with other injury claims. That's the reason the injuries are regular and habitual. It's an obsession and a fetish, not random freak occurrence injuries.
>When is the NFL going to step in and stop players from turning trade negotiations into free agency?
This is happening because the Texans are trying to franchise tag him and he's not accepting it. He should be a free agent
Also Clowney's not going to the Eagles unless the Texans are desperate to get rid of him. The Eagles should not do the deal for anything other than a few draft picks.
They cant stop it

CBA is already rigged beyond belief in the owners favor, quit bitching. If the man would rather sit out than play for the phins or toxins that's his prerogative. His body his choice motherfucker.
The NBA has stepped in and vetoed trades in the past on the basis that it makes a team "too good". What's stopping the NFL from exercising that kind of authority?
>Luck didn't have what it takes to endure the long term grind of this league. He told you as much himself.
Agree
>Wentz carries himself in a way that shows he's much more cut out for the tough times in this league
How has he shown this at all? He hasn’t necessarily shown the opposite but he hasn’t shown major fortitude yet either
Guarantee Turkey makes better posts than you
The NBA did that because they technically owned the New Orleans Hornets at the time of the deal
Wentz can handle tough times, he's used to having his anus punished at the clubs around Philly. He's very resilient
?
It's just something you see in the way wents presents himself in interviews. Seems like a much more cheerful guy and he's already overcome much of what broke Luck.
Luck retired because he was sick of getting new injuries every time an old healed. Wentz had the same thing with his back fracture occurring right after his knee and in response he rededicated himself to his health and overhauled his entire self-care routine. Just a glance at him shows you he's a lot thinner than he used to be, trying to make himself more pliable
Packers really need LB help...
>Seems like a much more cheerful guy and he's already overcome much of what broke Luck.
So did Luck at Wentz’s age.
I’m not saying Wentz is guaranteed to get burnt out but let’s pump the brakes until he’s been in the league 6 or 7 years of getting beat up
>Seems like a much more cheerful guy
Luck was unanimously considered the most cheerful, upbeat, friendly, and optimistic NFL player. It wasn't even close.
Wentz will be just as prone to injury fatigue and he is the most likely to retire early along with Cam.
Luck always came off as an autist.
Sure, but you can be autistic and upbeat

It feels like you never really watched Andrew Luck play or interact with anyone. You can watch any of his mic'd up videos and see why people view him that way.
He was certainly talented, but he comes off as a front-runner in hindsight.

Like I said, he couldn't overcome adversity. Accepting all the blame is what a QB is supposed to do.
>until the Colts management killed his love for the game
Jeff Fisher killed Nick Foles love for the game by his own admission and look how that turned out. Luck didn't have that extra something in his heart
You come off like one of those guys who will think he's right as long as he keeps talking and gets the last word in. You are retarded, dude. >3 points in a super bowl
So this is what you're doing with your free time now, Andrew?
I don't see Cam quitting football until he physically can no longer do it. He admitted in one of his vlogs earlier this year that he's basically nothing without the game which I thought was a window into his mentality and why he played down the stretch last year even with a limp noodle for a throwing arm.
If he had that level of commitment he would dived on that fumble in the Super Bowl
how much under the table money would he get?
His claim is that he was maneuvering behind the pile because he wanted to be in position to dive on it if it squirted away from the dogpile. That does sometimes happen, but it's up to you whether you believe that excuse or not. Most appear not to believe it but I do think it's at least a credible explanation.
The way he seems to hop away from the ball is suspect to say the least, especially with his attitude at the postgame press conference
The problem isn't the money, it's what the Eagles would need to send to Houston
That play was a third and long in the final minutes with the Panthers deep in their own territory. People make it out like the Panthers were driving down the field to win the Super Bowl. The game was basically over at that point.
It was a one score game. All it takes is a single fluke to get the lead. You have to dive on the ball there
>Rodgers
>elite
Kek
>The game was basically over at that point.
the game was certainly over if they lose the fumble, yes. making it even more egregious that Cam wasn't willing to go for it. if you know that not getting that ball back is essentially the dagger, I have to assume you didn't want to win that badly in the first place.
They would have had to punt on the next play and, if I remember correctly, it was close enough to the two minute warning that the Broncos were in a position where they could have bled out the clock.
And I don’t disagree with that but Wentz hasn’t done anything to prove he has that extra something either.
Could have punted. No way Peyton was driving to score. They'd punt back with more than enough time for the Panthers to drive for the go ahead TD.
>there are no "bad" teams in the AFCE
Wentz has been around a guy like Foles who's been in that place and has a similar strength to his personal faith. Luck never came off to me as a star QB. Wentz has the personality fr it, his flaw was being too stubborn which he's been trying to shake this season
espn.com
This article goes into depth on the sort of stuff I'm talking about
There were more than four minutes left in the game, and the Panthers had all three timeouts. Also their defense forced a three and out even after the fumble, but it was nullified by Josh Norman committing a penalty. If Cam gets that fumble back, there's a high likelihood that the Broncos give it right back and they get another chance to score. Giving up on it guaranteed the Broncos at least a field goal, making it a two score game.
>They would have had to punt on the next play and, if I remember correctly, it was close enough to the two minute warning that the Broncos were in a position where they could have bled out the clock.
You remember incorrectly. It was 3rd and 9. If the Panthers got the ball back, it would have been 4th and 15-24 depending on where they dove on the ball with 4:04 remaining on the clock and all 3 timeouts.

>Cam not diving on the ball
It's weird that people continue to talk about this, because if you rewatch the play, Cam made the right decision. Where he went IS where the ball went. If he dove toward where it was, it's unlikely he gets it any more than where he positioned himself. The ball went DIRECTLY towards where he kneeled right outside the pile, and he missed it. He was in a far better position to get it there, and he still didn't get it.
>4. Titans
>5. Raiders
>2. Packers
>6. 49ers
I think the Titans and 49ers picks are reasonable. Packers and Raiders are not.
The Titans have a mediocre defense, and an extremely inconsistent offense. 49ers have no secondary and their offense relies on a QB who hasn't played a good game in two years.
>The Titans have a mediocre defense
Top 3 in the league last year desu
If we went strictly be previous years offensive and defensive rankings, playoff teams would literally never change you silly goose. The AFCS is wide open, anyone could win it. It's between the corpse of the Colts, the bum ass Jaguars hoping Foles' meme magic follows him from Philly(it won't), the mediocre but stable 9-7 Titans that regularly beat playoff teams the last several years, or the mediocre Texans. And all of them have tough as shit schedules.
The Titans are easily a top 2 favorite in that division. It's them or the Texans this year. I like the Titans.
The 49ers are not my pick, but I understand people making it.
while the Titans played above their heads last year, and only missed the playoffs because they had to start Blaine Gabbert in a must-win game, they're forever going to be held back by inconsistency at the QB position. Mariota has yet to prove that he can stay on the field for a full 16 game season. if the choice is between Ryan Tannehill with the Titans overall roster and Jacoby Brissett with the Colts roster, I think it's hard to see the former coming out on top. and that's not even accounting for the team in the division with an actual quality QB in the Texans, who granted have their own organizational and roster issues. but Watson can pull wins out of his ass if need be, something the other two lack.
it's not at all out of the question that they could finish second in the division, but you have to wonder whether that'll be enough for a wild card. it seems very likely that one of the two AFC WCs will come out of the AFCW, so they have to compete with the AFCN runner up and whatever sleeper team we don't know about yet. Vrabel has done a better job than I expected with the team, but the Titans are in the unfortunate state of QB limbo.

based uncle shannon
why are u so fuckin obsessed with me?
I do think the Texans might be slightly favored, but I think the Titans pull through this year. I like them as a physical team because in the past few years they've had a history of bringing heat to teams that are "better" and giving them trouble. Playoff teams regularly split records with them in recent years because I believe the Titans are, from a defensive and O-line perspective, tougher than people think. Last year they were one of the more underrated teams and pulled off more Vegas upsets than most teams.
But make no mistake, there is no two playoff teams from the AFCS this year. Division winner is the only one getting in, and the winner is almost certainly getting in at 8-8 to 10-6. The division as a whole plays too many power teams this year to produce a WC, and especially with the Colts dead it's just not going to happen.

Well, you can, but mine is actually correct. You're talking about a basic ratio statistic and calling it advanced. You are an idiot. That's like saying yards per game is an advanced statistic.
An advanced statistic would be theoretical analytics or unique formulas that attempt to isolate performance like DVOA. TD:INT ratio is a basic, traditional stat.

>Steelers beating Brady in a road game
Nah. Brady went 8-0 at home last year, and he's 5-0 against the Steelers at home.
they've built their roster the right way for the offense they want to run, but it just feels to me like they're sort of in the wrong era to have that sort of offensive identity. passing is getting easier every year, and you need to be able to keep defenses honest with at least some sort of aerial attack. i am excited for AJ Brown though, he seems like a sorely needed addition.
definitely agree on the lack of an AFCS WC though, it's just not that strong of a division as things currently stand. more likely one of the Steelers/Browns makes it than the Jags or someone else taking the leap.

If they were smart, they could have just knelt for every single play and then kicked a field goal. Bled the clock and put it out of reach. I'll never understand why coaches refuse to make those kind of plays just because they look ugly in some kind of theoretical sense. It is the game winning decision.
>The Titans have a mediocre defense
Know how I know you don’t watch football?
Comedy is the best kind of anime, Great Teacher Onizuka, Detroit Metal City and Watamote are a good start.
Sport anime usually has a non-idiotic fanbase, even if it's shounen, Slam Dunk, Eyeshield 21, Kinnikuman, One Outs are all fine.
Shounen is only good when they're actually advancing the story. If it's adaptation of a 50+ volume ongoing manga, don't even bother with.
Hentai is safe, Bible Black is kino.

Pats fan mad at the geratrics club comment or eagles fan mad about the truth in Carson Bradford?
The Patriots have a better roster this year than they did last year, and Gronk was a waffling asset. He didn't show up at all in the regular season. If you recall, he started 11 games for 682 yards and 3 TDs. Absolutely average to below average as a TE for the regular season. He did show up in the playoffs, but he was a ghost during the regular season.
So the Patriots are just strictly a better regular season team this year, and they start with Edelman this time. No suspension. They will beat the Steelers. Not hadnily, but probably 24-17.
MVP ensures that you aren't winning the Owl. Enjoy

Should have just ran the ball 3 times and got the first down. Forced the Pat's to either use timeouts or give up 40 seconds between each play. Snap the ball as soon as the play clock hits 1. Or fail to get the first then kick the field goal.

Embarrassing. But yes, the AFCE is all average aside from the Patriots. They rarely dip into the worst of the worst at 3-13 or 4-12, but they're perpetually 6-10 to 10-6 teams.
Have a cheeky bet on him being MVP, obviously this depends on him playing under ability because he hated McCarthy and the fact that media loves the Packers

anime is for faggots
It's ultra conservative to kneel, but it would ahve worked. That means they either burn 2 minutes off the clock or the Patriots need to eat through all of their timeouts and score 11 points, necessitating an onside kick or the game is over, which have like a 5% chance of succeeding when the other team know it's coming. Even if they had played that lazily and kneeled instead of running it and risking negative yardage, they win that game 99% of the time.
Hmm...makes you think.
Thing is about the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins is they're often times trap games.
Coaches dont focus much of their energy on gameplans to beat them, and thus occassionally drop a game or two to the trio, thus making them seem better than the bottom'd out shells of teams that go 2-14, or 4-12 even.
>It's ultra conservative to kneel,

I initially had them 0-16. I'll say now that I think it's 5-11. Daniel Jones will underperform in real games, Eli will go 2-5 before he is benched, DJ finishes the season 3-6
10-6. Which is enough to sneak into a wildcard spot in the NFC this year.
Eli is subbed out with Jones as starter at game 10, where Eli has gone 4-6, Jones wins 6 straight, goes right to the SB where he beats the Patriots thus ensuring the passing of the Eli torch to Jones by the most important part. Beating the Brady led Patriots.
>too new to remember when Stafford was known as Glassford
And now he hasn't missed a game in several seasons
He would've gotten 40 in 2017 if he finished the year and know he's a better QB on a better team

Reminder that Bram Tadford's injuries were a steal because he'll retire and save them so much money by changing league retirement rules.
yes, and I'm not comparing him to Stafford, but rather Samuel Bradford.
I hope you realize this is pure fantasy, my friend.
But Stafford is a better equivalent to Wentz. Wentz doesn't have a single non-contact injury in his career
And I would hope nothing more than for it to not become true because I'm a fan of an AFC team not the Patriots and I'd really hope not to choke in playoffs this year :^)
what is even the point in posting this every thread
why won't skeeup admit that Cowboys are dogshit
I disagree completely as Stafford had 2 years of injuries, and then completed season after season.
Injury will constantly plague wentz wherever he may be.
Here, I'll give you a trivia question: who was the last rookie in the NFL to win 6 games straight?
And Wentz has had 2 years of injuries. It's the perfect match. Now he's completely revamped his diet and play style and will complete season after season except hell also win because he's not on the Detroit Lions
Baker? Dak?
WHy the fuck is it that Cowboys fans (Not just Skeeup but WIll Cain too) are the only fans permitted to go on tv, give terrible takes overestimating their greatness, and never get called on their bias?
they constantly get called on their bias
Not sure 2bh, but one of the few things I shitpost on /nfl/ despite not being a giants fan in the slightest. This is every single year mind you, is that the Giants vs patriots SB is happening again.
So I will shitpost about that a few times this off season, this pre season 2.
It's just the natural orders of things.
Not him but I'll play: Rapistburger?
Yes because Comp % and YPA are the only ways to measure a QB. Holy retarded Batman.
Big Ben
I never see them get called on their blatant representation of statistics. For example, they'll say that Dak is 3-1 against Wentz and nobody responds that he's 3-0 with Zeke and 0-1 without.
Rodgers, Wilson and Flacco all won the super bowl, so it made sense.
Was Ryan paid after reaching the SB or before? can't really remember it.
at this point theres no reason to call them out on their bias about that point. Neither Dak nor Wentz has done anything to set themselves apart from one another so who cares
Using QB head-to-head is just dumb in general
berds
This was in 2018, i believe right after the SB.
Gonna tank for Tua after that poor draft pick right?
Ding ding. 2004 Rapistburger.
And before him, I don't even know. It basically never happens. He's the only rookie I can think of that won a ton of games his rookie year. 13 games to be exact.
Eagles and Chefs are bros, man
It matters because Dak is demanding that he get paid at least as much as Wentz and they get butthurt everytime Dak is left off a top 100 list. I just hate how they refuse to pair the Cowcucks with actually smart people in the debate (except Shannon who's more interesting in fucking with Skip than outsmarting him)
I'm not. I don't want to give the fatfuck his first Owl
>implying the fins or clots wont win the tankb owl
Dak also got it as a rookie. He won 10 straight. Roethlisberger holds the record, though. So 2016 and 2004.
Rode the B train all the way.
Well Rodger's numbers recently are actually pretty good and since you can't get any worse than McCarthy, like literally he is so shit, then Rodgers has to do better, so I expect a good season at least from him. Maybe not MVP level but still a return to form.
As far as wins go it depends whether his D or team let him down again.
Injuries suck, man
I like to think this as a Chiefs and Sixers fan

Mahomes got a new cooking show. Ketching up with Mahomes.
Fitzmagic will dab on the Dolphins draft pick
This was Andy's idea surely
He had 33 in 13 games. Expecting 7 in 3 games is possible not not guaranteed. Especially when he may have rested the final game if seeding was locked up.
>Which team you gonna band wagon this year loser?
the entire rest of the AFCE
Bills Jets and Dolphins.
FOles got 4 TDs in the Giants game and Wentz would've had 3 on the shitty Raiders
Jets might actually be good. Bills have a small chance of being good. Dolphins have no chance of being good.
>yfw da bears win da superb owl
What makes you think this? Neither of his injuries will affect him going forward. He's not "injury prone," he's just been unlucky.
>Panthers fans dunking on Graham Gano for being injured and saying they should cut him for Slye 10 months after hailing him as God for bailing them out against the Giants
It never fails to amaze me how fans can go from patting a guy on the back one day to stabbing him in it the next.
>this more direct match doesn't work, because it doesn't fit my bullshit narrative
Fuck off, kid
Jets are embryonic playoff team. they just need everything else. lots of bad players. zero offensive help other than bell. which may not be much help behind that line.
but I think they hand pats a loss this year.
Bills are always fun to watch since they got allen. when things line up for them they can just steam roll any team in the league 3 times a year. its crazy. but I love allen. being the retirement home for overpaid RB's is fucking stupid though.
Just seems like the narrative.
U'll see.
Heh well can't accuse you of being a front runner lmao
>THIS MORE DIRECT MATCH
???? ??? ?
It isnt a direct match. Neither in Stats, playstyles, or even years. Wentz has ONLY played a full 16 game year his rookie year. He hasn't had a constant steady stream of 16 game years, and or completed seasons.
Last year he also fell off of a cliff in production in the 11 games he did play. What are you expecting this year after he returns from injury, to just suddenly go back to 2017's form like nothing ever happened?
We'll see where he is with injuries but it isn't wrong to assume a QB with injury issues in the NFL doesn't keep having them.
>What are you expecting this year after he returns from injury, to just suddenly go back to 2017's form like nothing ever happened?
Not him but yes, this is the first time he's been 100% since that Rams game and he was still more than competent in 2018 at 70-80%
Holy fuck, why are vicuck fans so delusional?
imagine a world without Vicucks
It’s why I never really get too invested. I put team before the players. Like some players I used to think, woah they’re gonna be here for the rest of their careers? Probably HOF, this is gonna be great. Then things go to shit and I want them gone.
Who do the Vikings even have on their team?
I understand being frustrated that it's nearly Week One and he's still not healthy, but just getting rid of a Top 5 kicker in the entire league is a horrifically awful idea and it only takes one look at the post-Gould Chicago Bears to understand that. For all we know Slye could be just a preseason/training camp superstar. We have no idea if he's capable of being a clutch kicker or not.
I imagine kickers are used to it. They get total shit if they miss a kick and no recognition when they do make it unless it's with 3 seconds left in the 4th quarter to win the game.

The NFL should implement relegation if the XFL is semi-successful for a year or two
Replace the worst team of each division with the XFL teams for one year, and then proceed as such with the relegated teams coming back in the next
Is Gary Kubiak even going to call plays for the Vikings? I thought he just accepted a meme position.
Anyways, if he does, at worst expect him to improve the running game with peanuts for budget an ease off pressure from Cousins.
Criticize this interpretation of the season. Rather than predict individual seeding, this is how I see each team coming into the 2019 season.

>Ravens - Can't win division, small WC chance
>Bengals - No chance
I'm not willing to go that far until seeing how the Ravens play during the season. The Bengals aren't great, but they wouldn't have finished as poorly last year if almost all of the key offensive pieces didn't get injured. I don't trust Lameme Jackson yet, let's see how he does under a full season of pressure.
i cant take it anymore, she is perfect.
you need to get in an isolation tank
Browns are the most likely to win the division, and I'm not riding the hype train, if anything I think they'll finish 9-7 at best.
Bengals just switched HC, Steelers can't catch a break from distractions despite Bell and Brown leaving and Baltimore is going to have a hard schedule, meanwhile Browns are going to have a relatively easy schedule.
The first number indicates the linemen aligned at the line of scrimmage and the second one the amount of LB's.
A 4-3 defense is pretty stable by itself and IMO allows players to rest because has a lot of subpackages. Generally you need DTs to be around 300 lb in order to perform their tasks wich are closing running gaps and rushing the QB, DEs need to weight around 265 lb in order to close the outside running lanes and pass rush. LBs need to multitask as the position requires, however they're more suited at 240 since they're required to match TEs on deep routes as good as they tackle runners. An advantage of 4-3 schemes is that allows specialist to line in subpackages.
On 1st down a defensive coordinator can send heavier linemen because most teams run on 1st down.(330lb DTs and 280lb DEs). On 3rd and long some coordinators send the dime package wich consists on 290lb DTs and even 250 lb DEs so they can rush the passer easily against a tired OL. As you can tell a 4-3 defense is all about winning individual mismatches in order to break plays.
A 3-4 defense calls for heavier linemen with less skills. They're suited to clog the running lanes and inside gaps so LB's break plays either by running into gaps or rushing the passer.
A base 3 defense needs NT to w8 300+lb and DEs around 290 lbs. Most teams rush the passer with 4 individuals so some OLB's have the task to also become pass rushers. In this case a 260lb OLB is perfect for the task. ILB must be around 250 LB not to be steamrolled by OL on the rushing game so they're generally slowed and not very good at defending the pass game.
Sometimes in passing situations DC's change to a 2-4 scheme by leaving 2 DE's and 2 OLB's to rush the passer. You do also need star safeties in order to be able to handle the running game as well as the passing game.
There is a lot of room for error in this kind of schemes because it's difficult to train OLBs to take on DL and LB tasks.

stay assblasted redditor
ravens defense is better and browns offense is better. i'd rather play the browns than the ravens desu
wrote this before, pasted from archive
well the extra DL/LB is the entire strategic difference, but I'll try to explain some of the why
4-3 is better against the run. 4 gaps between olinemen, 4 dlinemen, makes sense. 4-3 tends to be better at forcing pressure and collapsing the pocket when only rushing 4. the dlinemen can move the olinemen around and force QBs off their spot and disrupt the passing rhythm. 4-3 can also make it easier to rush with a blizing linebacker if the 4 linemen spread out the OL and make space between the gaps. 4 man line also forces the OL to only choose one player to double team, unlike a 3 man line
3-4 tends to try to stop short yard passing when rushing 3 by having an extra linebacker to cover the middle and the OLBs have quicker release into the flats or sideline zones. 4 linebackers also let you disguise which linebacker is covering a Hback or Fback in man coverage. 3-4 lets you be a little less predictable with blizing linebackers, because you can still rush 4 with 3 linebackers in coverage, but have 4 different linebackers to choose to rush. OLBs also have a different rushing style than DEs, they are faster with their release, bend, and hand/arm technique to force sacks more so than collapse pockets. 3-4 is the base defense for hybrid fronts, because you can change to a 4-3 or 5-2 without needing to substitute personnel with using an OLB as fill in DE, whereas dropping a DE into coverage is a bad idea.
when going into nickel, a 4-3 usually becomes a 4-2, while a 3-4 usually becomes a 3-3 or 2-4 and blizes more
Defensive lineman run stop and linebacker pass rush and vice versa for for the 4-3 in the most basic terms

Or maybe they should have more oversight with medical staffs of these organizations obfuscating injury reports and discussing severity and difficulties with recoveries?
Why the fuck is the home team for each match on the left side? What a shit graphic.
That would be interesting. When was the last time one division had 3 teams make the playoffs? Burrs/Chorgers Owl would be memetastic. Imagine how that'd have to go down, Chefs (or Donkeys) somehow miracle a win against the Patriots in the divisional then choke up a storm in LA? Imagine the memes.
Mexibros are alright. Burgeoning gridiron culture developing, and LigaMX is the only tolerable soccer league (and threads), and top-tier QTs. We should build a wall, but in the south border of Mexico to keep all the lowlander trash out of real North America.
Depending on injuries in the late season and seeding, it isn't always a sure thing. If the Broncos were a better team I'd say they can usually stuff them if Patriots don't have home advantage (they generally have bad time in Denver).
Those Roller Coaster Tycoon Eagles threads were great. Good times.

>Bannerlord is releasing in March 2020 on Steam's Early Access program.
play Mordhau for now i guess.
Remember when Richard Sherman said he was better at life than Skip? Remember when, one year later, Sherman became an irrelevant nobody and Skip Bayless became the biggest voice in Sports? I remember.
>Surprised there aren't a few more americaboos in Turkey.
sadly most of them watch only NBA. there is still a decent amount of Turkish NFL coverage and podcasts compared to MLB which is almost nonexistent.
>Steam
Pass. Stopped working on my Vista toaster, fuck those fascists. And I'd rather just keep playing M&B than Mordhau.
/Bills Owl 2020/
sorry to dissapoint you mr punjabi but Kubes is gonna sink the team trying to make a alligator jump through hoops
My favorite is when he said Luck was elite but Aaron Rogers had yet to prove himself lmao.
Chiefs bears owl
>Turkey has consistantly been the best ally of the USA in NATO
>not Canada
I like Turkish people a lot they are very friendly and generous people. The current Turkish government is complete shit though. Erdogan is a terrible asshole.
>Boy I sure do like the Chiefs and I'd love for them to have the easiest possible owl opponent while still picking something that at least sounds semi credible.
>Yup, bears.
Just thought I'd dissect this post.
>tfw you team isn't full of disgruntled niggers like Zeke, Bell, Brown, Gordon and Clowney
There is a reason these assclowns never win anything
If Erdogan goes through with the purchase of Ruski weapons NATO has threatened to sanction him.
Erdogan has stated if sanctioned he will suspend trade with the west.
Bannerlord is cursed to never come out.
oh and to stay on topic The Pats are making deals.
This. Turkbro is very based, redpilled, and high test. He's good in my book.
Gotta agree. I love turk poster even though the Turkish government is atrocious. He's based af always posting hotties, but the government is terrible.
This is hilarious.
We really should give it up more for the turk. He's probably the best trip in this general. Great poster, been here forever. He's practically a celebrity in these threads.
The best trips are Scarletism and Sneak.
Forgetting about me? Every other trip is low IQ and test.
All tripfags deserve the rope.
>The best trips are Scarletism
agreed
>and Sneak.
get the fuck out of here
>inb4 early thread made by an autism tripfag
>encouraging some fag to earlypost
nice work
tripflags*
Honestly spuh is slow enough that a new thread shouldn't be made until we hit page 10.
>WR Corps
The Panthers have learned their lesson after falling for the lanklet meme and their WR corps entering this season might be the best Cam has ever had. D.J. Moore & Curtis Samuel could be the next Jimmy Smith & Keenan McCardell
>QB1, QB2, QB3
Cam is underrated among elite quarterbacks and if training camp is any indication his arm strength is back. Kyle Allen might end up becoming another Case Keenum-type guy who goes from a UDFA to starting for another team. The jury's out on Grier but he's young yet.
>Offensive linemen
Trai Turner is one of the best guards in the league and Taylor Moton was a Top Five RT last year. Daryl Williams is an All-Pro when healthy. I don't know how Matt Paradis hasn't made a Pro Bowl yet.
>Healthy tight ends
Greg Olsen got a more invasive and complete surgery than the one he got in 2017 so his foot shouldn't be an issue anymore. And if it is Ian Thomas looks like he's the future.
The Panthers have no proven running backs behind Christian McCaffrey and their linebacking corps is completely different now that they've gone to a 3-4 base/Thomas Davis isn't on the team anymore.
Pretty much. There's really no point in making new threads at 500. Our new thread sometimes fills up before the old one is even dead and off the board. It's not like anyone is finding this general on the front page, we all find it through the catalog.
Should probably just make it after it hits page 10.
I’ve always hated 3-4 coverage. “Let’s just give up on pressuring the QB and stuffing the run and instead have a bunch of slow linebackers drop back into coverage because we’re idiots”. Meme defense.
EASY FOR YOU TO SAY YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE
damn, look at those legs make a complete ass out of themselves
It's more like a mix between a 3-4 and a 4-3 depending on the situation. A lot of teams are adopting it now in response to the Air Raid and other meme offenses so they don't get picked apart as easily. I think Ron said that the Bears were one of the defenses he studied in implementing it in Carolina.
Defenses are moving away from these standard formations anyways. Belichick likes to keep the defensive formation lose and mobile all the way up until the snap so QBs can't get easy reads. They'll stay in motion and feign assignments until the ball is snapped. This is especially more common on faster defenses.
>2019
>still fawning over pictures of random women on the internet
What are you, 14?
lmao like just blitz a linebacker nigga like what
Turkroach doesnt even know about best Emma. Pro tip, its Thompson, not Stone. Fuck Emma Roberts.
>the Daniel Jones dynasty
How do we stop it bros?
Should also note that it's exactly how the Patriots beat the Rams in the Super Bowl. Air Raid QBs like Goff generally have trouble reading defenses, so if you keep things fluid all the way until the snap they won't know what to do.
Get off Yea Forums and go back to paying fatties for sex
Imagine needing to rush more than 4 guys
I dont have to pay your mom
>putting words in my mouth
Itd be the most kino bowl because i like the chefs but if the burrs win the shitposting would be kino as well
>yfwdbwdsb
when does jets season begin? get me off the terrible mets ride
Why you gotta torture yourself like that?
>tfw old gay got jealous because I made 3 very obvious fake posts praising turk cuck and he wants to be praised too
Nobody likes any of you tripfags, retard. Did you actually think those posts were real? hahaha man that's sad
because they jets could do a better job at being in a hunt than the jets thats why
0% chance is not greater than 0% chance.
The Jets have better odds of doing decently this year. Most people have them pegged at 6-10 to 10-6. That's not 0%
Jets are better than the Jets?
>just as planned
You anons are so easily baited. I can play you all like a fiddle.
*mets
fuck this shit
>h-haha...I-I KNEW that...
You're such a weak retard

Sherm was super bowl champ a year later and the best cb in the league. Tf you talking about?
