No thanks
And yet you’re still here
Dumb bitch
Why did I sign up for an 8am class?
Dumb freshie. You're supposed to be taking notes, not shitposting.
To later contemplate suicide probably
>d00k vs Bama
For what purpose? Perhaps it's because Saban can look at his team in January and say "Hey, we've already beaten an ACC team!"
Cuttcliffe isn't a bad coach and Duke has been having some great seasons by their standards over the last couple of years.
Yah I'm gonna say these are based.
Hell yeah it is. Anything with the Pillsbury Throwboy on it is good.
Reminder that it is Michigan's year.
cleveland.com
TEXAS!
FIGHT!
Unless it's 1997, it hasn't been Michigan's year since 1948 outright.
I call Vince's performance being the best subjective bullshit. It was a clutch performance, not the best. To me the best performance must be an unstoppable domination of your opponent.
tbf, even 1997 wasn't their year.
Neither was 2017 for UCF, but that's why we claim natties, not own them.
CST where you at nigga
He's dead.
Mostly posting without my trip but I’ll make an exception
They said that in 97 too
Supposidy some vtech players tried to lose the last game against Marshall lasr year so they could skip bowling
What the hell is going on in Blacksburg? Justin Fuente is a good coach, what did these kids have against them? Was it that Old Dominion game that started this? Cause newsflash kiddos, Virginia Tech made a history of bad upsets, even Frank Beamer had some utter stinkers in his HoF coaching career.
uh.edu
And in other news someone gave houston $50 million in a donation
Who knows. It wouldn't surprise me if the odu game broke them. That was a huge news embarrassment for them
>bowl games
Absolutely meaningless. Good for those kids. Fuck another month of practice. They already do it FOR FREE.
Yeah but they should have know better, VT has done shit like this before, maybe not as impressively bad but still you have to let the past be behind you. It's called handling adversity. My sophomore year of high school we had to play our homecoming against a perpetual state champion who murdered us 72-0. It's not the same kind of loss, but it was equally embarrassing. But still life goes on.
Hey it may not mean much if your going in the top two rounds but if you are a senior just trying to get drafted in the remaining ones one more bowl game couldn't hurt to impress
thoughs on jim harbaugh, the south, and the south's penchant for cheating?
"In Overtime, Bacon examines the NCAA’s allowance for universities to provide players with a full cost of attendance, which provides schools to factor in expenses such as travel, food and laundry – along with other costs not covered by the cost of tuition. At Michigan, Bacon reports that figure comes in at $2,400 for out-of-state players per term both before and after the NCAA made allowances for the full attendance costs. That number only becomes more magnified when compared to SEC programs, which according to the book, totals $5,386 per term at Alabama, $5,586 at Auburn and $5,666 at Tennessee – which represents a 34 percent bump from the previous rate."
Harbaugh, who has made plenty of enemies south of the Mason-Dixon line since taking over at Michigan, has poked the cages of SEC coaches repeatedly and in the book, speaks to the disparity in spending by simply telling Bacon, “(It’s) hard to beat the cheaters.”
I guess the ncaa could put a cap if its a that big of an issue
Honestly, take a page from Smokey Yunick: ""All those other guys were cheatin' 10 times worse than us...so it was self-defense." You'd be surprised about how many teams all over the country take the low road. You can sit on a high horse and suck, or stoop down a champion. It's not like the NCAA is going to give out the death penalty anymore. If they wouldn't give it out for Penn State's criminal bullshit, they will not give it to anyone's unethical bullshit. You'd be amazed at how corrupt the NCAA is...
>one of the voters picked the B1GCG to be Northwestern beating Michigan
>no one was willing to predict a B1GCG in which Ohio State lost
Lmao
A cap wouldn't be very effective at this because every school has a varying budget to spend. It would neuter the big schools yes, but would be hard for smaller schools to meet the space with out a floor to go with the cap. Though it would offer a challenge to big schools out-recruiting the entire state because they would have to balance payrolls, but then you couldn't ostensibly introduce caps without paying players cause no one's going to subject themselves to NFL rules without a salary.
that's what i thought too. maybe adjust for local taxes but even that difference would be nominal. Just cap it for everyone at $3000
If there was a time for anOSU to lose a B1G Championship Game, it would be this year and not because of the talent but arguably Ryan Day's youth.
If they're seniors, they should just quit. If they are playing in subsequent years, they should probably make an effort to get better
Is there any reason for Mizzou and Arkansas to stay in the SEC? Moving to the Big 12 they could:
> Compete at a higher level
> Recruit in a larger area closer to home
> Travel shorter distances between games
> Get nearly the same annual revenue form the Big 12
> Big 12 would be back to 12 teams
> The SEC would be able to play cross-division opponents more often with them gone
It just doesn't make any sense to stay in the SEC, other than to say you play top caliber teams every year.
"Don't you have to be stupid some place else?"
"Not until 4."
>taking this absolute bullshit online class to pad out some credits

You guys better appreciate Matt Campbell, by the time he's retired the stadium will be renamed "Trice-Campbell Stadium." You guys will be building statues and naming streets after him in Ames when all is said and done.

>VSU Blazers
>English/Biology
>Graduated 2017
>Delta State for me but it's objectively West Georgia. We stole Delta State's coach my junior year and went undefeated (beating West Georgia) and winning a natty with him the year after I graduated.
>Kerwin Bell got hired away by Charlie Wrong and USF last year and I don't know who we hired in his place (I live in Texas now) so I will guess we won't be defending our title this year.
Then debate
Hardly even. The annual SEC payout is 40 million, and the Big 12 is 35 million. Is the additional 5 million worth losing an additional 3 games? I think not
Mizzou did not jump out of that frying pan only for them to jump back in it. There's a very good Longhorn shaped reason why they left the Big XII. Arkansas can go though, it might make them nostalgic for their SWC days. Weird how a conference mostly made up of Texas teams was led by a team from Arkansas.
They were average then, and they're average now, maybe even below average. In the last 5 years they were in the Big 12, they had 3, 10+ win seasons. Are you saying they left for the same reason A&M did?
It wasn't the on the field results that convinced them, A&M, Nebraska, and Colorado to leave. It's a situation of politics and money with a few ethics issues thrown it. Basically Texas pissed them off with how the conference was run over money and a certain TV deal that essentially they left in protest and that's what happened.
If the longhorn network was never created none of those schools would have left
Texas couldn't see the forest for the trees that everyone was going to leave, they were so pissed. Realignment and Mack Brown's firing arguably sent them down a path of embarrassment for years that they are just now recovering from.
>my face when people actually think the team with the best defense and a top 10 offense in the country will miss the playoffs next season
>Brandon Peters (objectively and statistically the best QB in the 2016 recruiting class, it isn't even debatable)
>Ty Isaac (best RB in the game who will be 100% healthy, unlike the entirety of last year. he will put up 1200+YDs/10+TDs/5.0YPC)
>Jake Butt (a top 3 TE already going into this season, 1000+YDs/7+TDs)
>Sean McKeon (literally a Jake Butt-clone)
>Amara Darboh (top 10 WR, 900+YDs/5+TDs)
>Jabril Peppers (a black guy trapped in a black's body, one of the smartest players in football, elite measurables, incredible upside)
>Kareem Walker (one of the fastest and most explosive players in football)
>Joe Beneducci (best blocking FB in country)
>Best pass rush in the B1G
>Best LB corp in the B1G
>Besy secondary in the country
>Top 5 D-Line
Barring major injuries to key players, there is literally no way the Wolverines are missing the playoffs this season
The Michigan B1G championship drought ends in 2016-2017
You can't prove me wrong
Cap it
I like how all of those players are long gone. Thanks for the nostalgia trip to three years ago.
Yeah funny enough looking back, all those players fucking suck now. Butt is deader than dead, best player listed is probably Peppers funny enough. Taco is probably the best of all that squad nowadays unless I'm forgetting someone.
>best defense
>top 10 offense
Who is this Michigan fan talking about?
Mississippi State was the best defense in the country hands down last season and Michigan wasn't anywhere close to being a number one offense.
>tfw someone actually saved the copypasta I made years ago
Neat
We look back at this pasta as a kind of relic.
If Harbaugh couldn’t beat Ohio State with the team described here, he never will.
>when the pasta literally dates itself and you still fly into a “MUH SEC” rage
Quality education
Are you actually a buckeyes fan? I need to know
Nope, not a Michigan fan either or a fan of a school that has any rivalry or anything with Michigan I just wanted to make a shitpost
This year might be his best shot with unambiguous gone but I can see Penn state ruin the party
Urban gone*
Congrats, you made one that will live forever
post pictures of campus and/or college town so we can finally separate the shitter schools from the comfy schools
>The annual SEC payout is 40 million, and the Big 12 is 35 million. Is the additional 5 million worth losing an additional 3 games?
>I think not
Every 10 years that's 50 million, most of these schools are barely in the black. There's only a handful programs that actually profit from college sports, moving to the SEC allowed TAMU and Missouri to rebuild their outdated facilities.
Also; the real number is getting closer to 8 million per year difference, not 5.
>that 2020 Kentucky defense
what the actual fuck
are they funneling basketball money into football now?
They're realizing that they once had Bear Bryant and could have been BOTH a football and basketball school but that one asshole in 53 handed Bear a watch and he walked to Tuscaloosa and thus 60 years later, Kentucky is trying to right that wrong with Stoops.
Do we have an ESPN pick em league up yet?

Georgia. Just because their offensive line is unfair, I don't think Nick Saban or Dabo have had one this talented. Anyone here remember for 90's Nebraska? Could be a shot in the dark but it kinda reminds me of Clemson's Dline from last year.
Yeah but the person who made hasn't linked it lately and I forgot to save it
I remember those 90s Huskers, if what you say is true then that's one outstanding line. Almost criminally good.
If Stoops wins 10 games this year, he might be gone in 2020
Oklahoma
Ohio State
Florida

Ohio State

Clemson. I think Clemson is gonna have a similar year this year to what Alabama had last year: an offense that's so goddamn good that it covers up some suspect defense. Main difference will be that Clemson's D won't crumble like sand castles when tested.
I guess I should clarify: tested in high-pressure situations where the offense can't simply out-score the opposition.
Does Ohio State actually have the best marching band in the nation? What other schools are known for having good ones?
>Georgia. Just because their offensive line is unfair,
Not surprising, Sam Pittman had a bunch of draft picks while he was coaching at Arkansas. I don't know if you can compare anything to those 90s nebraska olines.
App state, NC A&T
Tennessee, Southern and the Citidale are some of the other one's I've always heard a lot about.
Purdue is also well known but that could be because of the drum they have

Debatable, there are tons of really good college marching bands, usually the blacker schools are better. Power 5 bands are just gigantic and can do cool pregame/halftime shows.

Alabama
Ohio State
Utah/Washington, whichever goes undefeated because I think one of them will.

Uh, by not having Alabama in the playoff, wouldn't that mean you think they're overrated by default?
>BOLD PREDICTION

Cap it.
>>BOLD PREDICTION
Jake Fromm's leg gets btfo and UGA tumbles to a 4 loss season
While Jake "The Snake" Bentley leads SCAR to win the East and takes down Bama to finally win the SEC. It's destiny. The Cock has come home to roost!
That's hardly bold by UGA standards.
Why is Miami's O-line so bad?
Your greatest moment as a program was a goddamn SEC East title under a castoff Steve Spurrier who then torpedoed your program for several years and quit in the middle of the season like an ass and it took William fucking Muschump four years to be almost as good as the HBC was for you?
A combination of 4 freshmen starting (?) and a rookie coach in his very first HC job are a recipe for disaster. That Williams kid will be in a wheelchair by the end of that season, if he lives that long. He's going to get David Carr'd.
Cock-A-Doodle-Doo Motherfucker! The East is ours and the Dawgs are going to be put down at the pound this year.
>5 of the preseason top 10 teams won't finish in the top 10.
That literally just happened last year and I'm pretty sure there's always at least 4 or 5 who don't finish in the top 10.
Better question is how did they move the ball better than the preseason number 8 with that going on?
I'm pretty sure the SEC east is ACC circa 2018 tier.
FSU was the only marching band invited to perform on the 75th anniversary of D-Day so that tells you something

I'm a Texas Tech fan, but you guys always struck me as kings of unfounded optimism and I grew up with a conference that had a literal cult of Faggies in it. Even those guys didn't have hope like your fans do. Nothing wrong with it, it just seemed odd to me.
thinking about canceled games, lads....
in no fucking world does anyone not named Georgia have a chance at winning it, and who gives a shit after 1st
Now that the Rypien shitter is gone, how's your quarterback situation?
new freshman rook, we'll see
>IF they get to play any games
will you beat the semenholes?
Georgia is definitely the favorite, but Florida might be able to meme their way to the East title. Georgia is good for blowing one game a year they shouldn't and the UF/UGA game is an "anything can happen" kind of game.
With Slick Willie on the FSU sidelines, anything is possible.
not likely, we're not giant killers anymore
That's because you let your good coach walk to Seattle. But if it means anything, Petersen can't win big games anymore so he may have left his talent in a locker there in Boise.
Or maybe because the Pac 12 is better than the MWC and playing 10+ P5 opponents a year is far more challenging than playing 1-2 P5 opponents a year. Same shit happened with Utah when they moved from the MWC to the Pac 12. They went from being a midmajor powerhouse to having their first losing seasons in over a decade and they couldn't compete until they signed some higher ranked classes than they used to get in the MWC. Utah is a solid P5 program now but they aren't going undefeated anytime soon like they did in 2004 and 2008. TCU went through the same process joining the Big 12. You can survive bringing your B-game against Colorado State or UNLV. You bring your B-game against a P5 team, even the mediocre ones, and there is a good chance you get upset.
They are pretty damn fanatical. There's also a lot of band-wagoners due to it being the state school, so you have to put up with it even from people with no direct connection to the school.
I've to Columbia and I can understand why they are the way they are: they have nothing but this team.
>Utah is a solid P5 program now but they aren't going undefeated anytime soon
they're going undefeated this year
Only if Urban is still on the sidelines.
What should happen to players or teams where guys suddenly fall down (after walking normally) on the field to slow down an offense? Should five yards or a new down be given to the offense being slowed down?
it's because the school is seriously only a few good years from being an elite program. it's an incredibly easy location to recruit the feral niggers from the carolinas georgia and florida. plus there's a sizable fanbase, good facilites etc etc, it's just that no coach has ever really put it all together. idk if muschamp can do it either but it'll happen eventually with some coach
Whittingham’s gone undefeated too.
If a ref catches it: 5 yards and an ejection for simulation.
Oh really. As a Go5?
keep dreaming lmao
This. I'm an old fuck (born 1972) I have never seen the Gamecocks be anything more than average, with the exception of the HBC years.
Have they ever even been to or won a bcs tier bowl?
They've won 3 outback bowls
That's it
I guess after McCaffery got robbed of his Heisman, they’re gonna make FUCKING SURE voters watch their games
The voting system as a whole needs an overhaul. Anyone with a vote should have to wait until the conference championships are concluded. It's a joke of a system as it currently stands.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA for real?
Clowney's hit on that Michigan player is also one of their biggest achievements, along with getting stomped by Cam Newton in the SECCG during their only appearance.
A drunk guy on TV shouting from midfield is not a Heisman voter, no matter how much he drowns out the postgame interview.
They had to play Jabari Zuniga
To be fair, that hit got Clowney drafted despite his knees being totally shot and it taking a lot of work to fix those microfractures.
That Oregon State kicker fucking up vs LSU was way worse than Kyle Bronztman? However the fuck its spelled
Yeah but we still make fun of him, unlike Oregon State, who are already a joke.
I swear to god if they move or cancel the FSU v Boise game for anything less that a cat 3 hurricane I'm going to shit on the governors desk
>ACC Network
>literally just 2016-Today Clemson football, UNC & Duke basketball
Jesus Christ what a joke of a broadcast
there's at least 3 other schools that have historic dynasties in your conference, play something different than the Dabo Fluffing Show 24/7
It’s not even gonna touch Titusville till Sunday afternoon one of the more accurate predictions says (and that’s if the storm isn’t destroyed in Hispaniola)
At least it's better than the Raycom Media amateur hour "broadcasts" they had before.
How is it possible for the ACC to be so incredibly inept? They can't manage money correctly, they can't properly schedule games, they are literally the last conference to have it's own network now and it's completely shit. How is that even possible?
Well, the Raycom Media stuff was because the guy who owns Raycom is the son of an ACC president so there's obvious nepotism in play that now has passed on to ESPN.
Why are you surprised that it's filled with Clemson shit when Clemson football is the only relevant team outside of basketball season?
Football sells and Clemson is the only team anyone is buying
>Raycome
Does this ACC network mean noon games will start at fucking noon instead of 12:30 where they just fucking overlap kickoff for the CBS game of the week?
Asking for a friend.
Honestly that's just been the ACC for a while now. It's been one team ruling over a bunch of midgets for several years and then they lose and some other team takes their place.
It looks like they're doing 12, 4, and 7:30 windows
it's because the ACC Commissioner is a former UNC player, former UNC A.D., and UNC dictates the direction of the conference. The ACC could have a renaissance if he'd just fuck off an die already.
also his sons are high-profile in Raycom Media so take a wild fucking guess as to why this ESPN network took forever to launch.
It's funny how UNC dictates this conference despite not even being the best school in the ACC either athletically or academically speaking.
ESPN was the ones dragging their feet about the network, not the conference or even Raycom
They signed their last TV contract right about the time the cable users started to drop off
I see 12:30 kickoffs on some schedules but I'm pretty sure raycom sports is done broadcasting on CBS at noon and ESPN bought up the rights to everything. Go6 games will probably take their place.
their biggest rival Duke is the greatest academic institution in the conference, and UVA is the greatest public school. Every one of their fans says otherwise though.
if it weren't for 40+ years of cheating in apehoop they'd be irrelevant; other basketball schools like UCLA/Kentucky/Kansas have had bright flashes in football before, but not UNC. FSU, VT, Clemson, and Miami should run the conference because football is the big $$$ sport.
The ones on the channel will start at noon
The online stuff starts whenever
Is having a heisman really worth having only 12 fans in the stands?
They're already having attendance problems and I don't really know why having games at 12 eastern is appealing because there's other games on
I had forgotten about that game and looked up highlights
>LSU was saved by JaMarcus Russell
Fucking wow
/ourguy/ Lane Kiffin and the BASED FAU Owls
well unfortunately for those two its four nc programs and uva in the conference vs a bunch of big east escapees. fsu and miami would get kicked out before they would ever have a say in the acc against the founding members
>paul finebaum
so what UM playes against a better defense in practice
The only way this isn't retarded is if Colorado or Utah host and they don't put in the teams people outside of the Pac 12's footprint actually watch (Oregon, USC, Washington).

No because anyone that pulls for one team could never get away with pulling for the other. The rivalry between the fan bases is extremely contentious. You'd be ostracized by both fan bases and constantly mocked. No one wants both the SCAR and Clemson fans unified against you.
>Kareem Walker

Bring back the BCS computer rankings and make the computers the ranking authority. Only convene the playoff committee in the event of ties within the top 4.

The BCS computers were no different than having human voters. They were subject to the same biases as whoever made their calculations, which were proprietary, so fans and teams had no clue what they had to do to move up the computer rankings. It wasn’t unusual for one computer to have a team ranked 6th while another had them 23rd. Zoomers who weren’t around for the BCS think their computers were flawless and immune to controversy and perfectly logical. That’s not how it was at all. Some of them were designed by people who didn’t know shit about football. At least with the committee there is a spokesman to answer questions and explain votes.

It was never supposed to an exclusively UT network. The initial idea was to create the Lone Star Network, where all the Texas teams were going to have coverage like the SEC network. Can't blame UT for having money to go through it on their own.
Could be a fun playoff year
Gonna beat bama this year
Thanks! Got a VPN now so I can't flood here anymore but I will lurk.
Boise St vs FSU being played looking grim. Expect the game to cancelled or pray for a miracle and the game is moved up.

Is this another season where Alabama will play a bunch of retards and literal who teams and still get ranked top 2?
Yep.

Bama because revenge factor and their easy schedule will leave their players well rested and injury free

The season hasn't even started yet and Bama's roster is already getting BTFO by injuries
Doesn't look good

The ones that remain will do the job, let’s not kid ourselves

Proof that you are a nigger bandwagoner
The ACC / ESPN bungled the launch of the ACC Network so bad that there will be / has been a significant influx of sign ups for free trials, along with subsequent cancellations just to view the Clemson Vs. GT game tomorrow night. The people in charge of locking up licences should be fired and humiliated because every other P5 conference figured it out, unless I'm mistaken. The biggest laugh is to those that signed up and forget to cancel.
Did the Big 12 ever get it's own network? I thought Texas fucked that up for everyone else?
>every other P5 conference figured it out
I have yet to see the Big 12 network despite looking really hard
Pretty sure they were one of the first to get their own network.
You're thinking of the Big Ten
No I believe the B1G was the first. Texas made their own network and fucked over the rest of the conference
My bad. My original point still stands that conference networks are long overdue and the fact that when / if they launch they don't have their shit together ahead of time, while locking major games behind the walls, is a sign of ineptitude that requires significant consequences. The majority of people in Clemson's region don't have access to it without signing up for services they are forced into or are 3rd party beyond major cable / tv providers. Dumb asses all around.
Yeah
ESPN backed themselves into a corner promising the ACC this back in 2014 I think?
I don't really understand the appeal of the thing anyways
SEC fans care about their brand and I don't think the Big Ten is too fractured
But the ACC still feels like 3 different cliques that really don't care about each other
As a Clemson fan I follow the SEC more than the ACC. Mainly because there's passion with the SEC and apathy with most ACC teams
My Xbox likes to make teams throw more than irl so it's nice to see when a team randomly has 69 rushing attempts in a game
>PAYING to fire a coach who could win 11 games at fucking kansas
you deserve everything you get
They shouldn't have needed to be warned, wtf
It's because the basketball schools in the ACC are the center of gravity, and the conference has no real football identity outside of Clemson and VA tech.
I mean... they were still mediocre with Mangino, but they at least got some bowls.
Firing the most successful coach in KU history because a couple players were too soft... wew lad.
RIP in pieces jayhawk football.
>dropped out like 15 years ago
>still a fan instead of bandwagoning texas or some shit
>now the other 5 star will have to come off the bench and take over
You guys can't even give them a close game. Even Arkansas managed that.
I will never not be mad about Georgia's performance in 2015.
>blocks your path
>again
>late 4th quarter losses arent close games
Almost every team has letters as the logo, and many of the ones who don't look like shit (Oregon State, Arkansas, etc).
what the fuck
I literally gave up on getting a business minor because I didn't want to take accounting at 8am.

My schools haven't missed the NCG/playoffs since the Bush administration.
That actually sounds like it could have enough content to be viable, unlike a channel for a single fucking school.
The LHN is the reason the Big 12 is so fucking poor, and, by extension, will be the reason it folds. I still can't believe it happened and continues to happen.
I bet the ACC had some kind of community when it was just Georgia, Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland, who are all close enough for anyone to see anyone else's games easily. Now it's everything from the tip of Florida to the end of Massachusetts.
Last time Alabama had two starting linebackers get hurt they played like shit. Nobody just replaces their starting inside linebacker, especially a first team all american.
I really think this is possible, Gus bus is probably going to be fired before November.
I didn't even know about 2017 which is the only one this really applies to. No one actually believes MSST can beat Bama so it hardly counts anyway. See Arkansas 2014 for a real we-actually-thought-they-could-do-it game.
Things are shaping up so that >we have to keep him. Florida is probably a win, and if >we beat Oregon it's 9-4 and a two year extension.
>arky arky arky
They lost too and we beat them

>Only one wake-up until kickoff, friends.
This is the last day without college football! I wish all of your teams the best of luck this year, unless you're a Duck of course.
They shouldn’t, considering around 80% of their noncon games are against vastly overmatched midmajors and FCS teams.

Notre Dame, only rival in the last 10 years thats been rival worthy, visiting Chi town for the game every other year is nice, fucla can't even be assed to be in a different city
>Your teams likely record
After last year...8-4, i know we gutted our old offense coordinator, I know almost no names on the team this year which could be good or terrible. I don't think we'll have another 5-7 year but I don't think we're gonna slap back that hard
I think this well be Heltys last year for sure if he doesn't go at least 8-4/beat ucla. He's had a the most stable run of all the coaches this year, just barely beating out Kiffin, but, he's had his 4 years to produce now, if this current team can't at least go positive or higher then he should be axed. I defended his losses and status last year because there's still a chance it could have just been a fluke bad year for him but we'll see after this season. I have no defense anymore if he can't produce
Just took a nap so I could watch football without dying tonight lol
Sup bros, Just letting you all know ill be doing another mexican cfb thread tomorrow for this weekend games, the Monterrey university derby UANL vs Tec Will be 730 pm tomorrow so it should be an intresting game if anyone wants to check it out

Duke is gonna have a great game with Bama. Cutcliffe will have Saban shook to the absolute bone on Saturday. Expect this game to be a close one.

Boise State will find a way to win.
Really thinking about taking UMass at +16. I think Rutgers is putrid

CRINGE AND TECHPILLED
I could see teams like Michigan or Ohio State or Oklahoma doing that, but where Florida state is right now, they need all the good ooc games they can get with that abysmal ACC strength. That's not me saying Michigan is good by the way, they just have a tendency to pull out of ooc games whenever they want

I'm interested in tech since I watched a bunch of temple when their coach was there but I doubt they'll show anything vs clemson or even this year
Clemson Vs. GT. Hoping for no injuries and backups put it at some point in the 3rd quarter.
UCLA/Cincinnati seems interesting
UCLA seems improved but Cincinnati seems like a dark horse playoff contender if they can sneak out a win next week at Ohio State
MY Texas Tech Red Raiders are going to go 6-6 and go to a low-tier bowl game and there's NOTHING any of you can do about it!

UW has the most energetic band and is a ton of fun to watch and listen to youtube.com
Bama is also great youtube.com

Shit, ND has two top 100 inside LBs by 247 as red-shirt sophomore's BACKING UP two senior LBs and people are acting like their second level is going to be absolute shit because they just lost two fantastic ILB's to the NFL last season. Yet when Bama has two true freshman it doesn't mean anything lol. Granted, if Bama's DT's can be amazing they'll be able to cover most of that up. But still, it doesn't matter how talented they are at LB, which is a very cerebral position. They WILL make mistakes. They are also still basically high school athletes. Even if they were five stars, they will have to deal with Olinemen who have been in college strength and conditioning programs barrelling towards them. They WILL be a liability and a weakness. They will miss run fits, they will make coverage mistakes.
That being said, look for them to be amazing 'backers in '20 and '21 seasons.

Theres no way in hell that many hillbillys went to college
this better not be an issue tomorrow
Prices are a method of rationing scarce resources. They ensure that anyone able and willing to pay for tickets will get them. The fact that your school gives them away means no one wants to see your shitty team.
It’s going to be the biggest issue of the season
WAAAAAAZUUUUUUUUU
what
Cincinnati is a good team and should have been ranked already, tho they will be next week, but god damn UCLA looked terrible. Cincy shoulda won my 3 tds. What the hell happened to Chip Kelly?
Are you kidding me? "Storming the field" because you, last year's National Champions, beat a 6-8 team by 40 points?
Are people going to Clemson to act like retards on TV? Sad.
New Hampshire's 25-year head coach just stepped down for "Medical Reasons", and their hockey team is melting down after decades of being one of the best in the country. It's all lining up for CHIP TIME.
They do this every game you newfag. The students sing the alma mater on the field.

Every student section sings the alma mater after games. That isn't special.

Clemson just tries way too hard. You can tell it's a program that prior to the current era was best known for getting punched by Woody Hayes.

I don’t see how touching a rock and running down a hill is an exciting tradition, I just don’t
I wish Mizzou had stayed in the B12
because it's not, and there were no fans to get butthurt about it before Dabo came along
How is your school's traditions more exciting then?
I can't really explain this one
USF's ratings were artificially decreased as well
God I fucking hope so
Watching Wisconsin get sliced up would be kino
Are you really trying to defend that boring tradition?
This, why the fuck did SI rank it the #1 tradition. It’s not even good.
A better question would be what tradition ISN’T more hype than touching a fucking rock? Some of the top of my head that are more exciting:
>sooner schooner
>masked rider
>enter sandman
>war eagle flight
>hoddy toddy chant
>seminole guy
>calling the hog
Everything is better than
>A
>FUCKING
>ROCK
Why are you still seething?
>A FUCKING WAGON
>A FUCKING FAGGOT
>A FUCKING SONG
>A FUCKING EAGLE
>A FUCKING CHANT
>A FUCKING FAKE INDIAN
>A FUCKING CALL
Literally every tradition is shit if you just pull back the layers
I didn’t pull back any layers. You are running a fucking rock.
And Virginia Tech enters through a generic tunnel to a certain song
A song with no significance to the school
Why is that a decent tradition?
And literally all of those things are still more exciting than a rock.
I said it was exciting. Which it is.
youtu.be
Not really
It's just a song
You are going to your school's home opener right user?
It's not for another 3 weeks
because it rips
No, Embry-Riddle doesn't have football
Gotta stop projecting guy, I didn’t say it was a bad tradition, just that it’s not exciting
I mean your school's tradition probably isn't that exciting to everyone
Different strokes for different folks
>13/23
>168 yds
>1 TD, 2 INTs
Yea Lawrence is definitely ready for the NFL right now, definitely nothing wrong with shitting the bed like this against an unranked defense.

>this many posts of coping because your tradition is a fucking rock
It’s a thousand miles away and I was unemployed until last week so no.
*yawn*
No one is going to be as excited about a school’s traditions as a school itself, but they can still think it’s good. For example, watching live didn’t get me hype, but I was absolutely impressed by it.
I don’t hate Clemson either. The $2 thing is eyebrow raising and singing the alma mater on the field is sweet and I’m sure it would extremely sentimental if I were a student. But running down a hill and rubbing a rock is objectively stupid.
If you that doesn’t look exciting to you you probably just aren’t much of a football fan, and I would literally nuke FSU’s stadium I could. You’re probably just coping though.
