These are OPTA stats, there's no universally agreed upon formulas for xG and xA. Different companies will have different numbers sometimes varying wildly like last season understat had wilson around 6xA with opta having him around 3xA

A high team value is really useful later on in the season when you use your second wildcard to jump on players from the big teams for double gameweeks. This season Liverpool are guaranteed one because of their club world cup commitments. It's also likely Man City will have one as they always go far in the cups so will see some prem games postponed. Usually there's one big double gameweek where half the league play twice so a strong bench fr a bench boost is usually recommended.

I feel like it's a waste to have both Sterling and Aguero, seeing as you can only captain one of them. They have great fixtures, but if other players start looking like must haves you'll have to sell one of your big hitters and it will be a pain to distribute all of those funds around the team without a WC.

I'm not convinced by Haller yet, so that is one of the reasons.
