Charlotte and Seto (Japan) are twin cities of my city. Something like a dozen years ago, they invented high school baseball clubs here, and the club of my city got BTFO twice.
I guess it makes sense, they are amateurs who train something like once or twice at best per week, while high school baseball clubs train 2 or 3 hours per day all week most likely.
