Officially there's a rule in baseball that you can't take more than 10 seconds between each pitch, I'd love to see that rule actually get enforced for a fucking change. This. Puts the decision on whether or not to use replay on the teams. Hell each team can have their own "video crew" that watches the game from every angle and tells the manager whether or not to challenge the call. The only drawback is that it could allow refs to get worse than they already are. I'd also implement tracking technology in the boots of each player that accurately determines whether or not a player is offside.

I think a solution could be to review the play as the game goes on without stopping, and if the review is favorable then the game is restarted from the point of the challenge, otherwise they play on.
