Padania v Catalonia

If both of these nations were to become fully independent, which would be better at football and how much worse would Italy/Spain be without players born from there?

Padania is a joke. They couldn't even decide its theoretical borders, bigger cities were always against it and was only supported by retarded farmers and one party exploiting them to get into Parliament and live off annuities, only to do a complete 180° and become a nationalist party against nigger to gain some votes in the rest of Italy as long as it grants them enough votes to live in a nice penthouse in Rome.

What is even a Padania? Northern Italy?

desu I only heard about Padania because they have a national team in CONIFA.

The OP is talking about a theoretical possibility here, stop dragging actual politics into it.

My answer to the OP would be Catalonia to the first question, the second one is bit more difficult. Most people would immediately answer Spain, but Italy also has a disproportionate amount of Northern Italian footballers. Catalonian (=Barcelona) players would be more likely to be key players so I do think the answer is Spain.

As a follow-up: you're also acting as if the people who founded Lega Nord are the same people who turned it into a nationalist, anti-immigration party which isn't true. Different people, different issues, different times.

With the current players, I would say Padania and Spain.
Cataluña's La Masia is a fucking joke right now and the only two players that make it to the NT are Busquets and Alba, and they are both really bad right now

Sorry i planned to follow up but i got caught up into something else.
My point was that catalonia might actually be able to make a team while Padania is a shit show and would only be able to put together a team of non league players

>Alba
>bad
based retard

ja bitte verpisst euch ihr dreckigen spasten

>le run fast and dive moor
he's abysmal. Also the player who dives the most in the entire world. He plays in the team that dives the most in the world and even he dives a lot for Barça's standards.

Alba has been shit this past season

I tried my best at making two sides for the teams

Catalonia XI
--------------------------Pau Lopez---------------------
S. Roberto--------Pique-------Bartra-----------Alba
---------------Busquets---------Romeu----------------
Aleix Vidal-----------Aleix Garcia----------Cardona
------------------------Sergio Garcia--------------------

Padania XI
--------------------------Gollini----------------------------
Conti----------Rugani------Chiellini------De Sciglio
-----------------Cristante----Gagliardini---------------
Chiesa-----------Bernardeschi--------El Shaarawy
---------------------------Belotti---------------------------

any other players to put instead?

Why did you put there Tuscanian and Liguri players?

i used lega nord's (ie wikipedia) definition of padania

Attached: Padania-Regions.svg.png (1024x900, 165K)

both are memecountries created and pushed by the jew to divide holy italy and holy spain

Ignore that, use the geographic one

so what is the geographical definition anyway?
everything i see includes liguria as well
basically the same map minus tuscany, umbria and marche?

>Sergio García
>scored 5 goals in 69 games with Espanyol

Yeah but usually Liguria's out too

Reminder that venetians aren't Italians, padanians or even humans

well let us compare their squads :
>Catalonia
players from La Liga and EPL
>Padania
Serie D players
